Both are P1Harmony's show. They do fun activities and mission in both the shows. It's really funny and they compete with each other in teams.

They have the same iconic duo dynamic and is both really enjoyable and revolves around cops. They also both have a sense of humor during the whole movie, making the watcher laugh and relate to the main characters.

So far both have same vibe and time travelling. A lot of twisted plot and trying to solve the mystery of WHY.

Both are about lonely, eccentric people hiding behind masks, until they find someone who shows them the value of friendship - it's about enjoying your life to the fullest inside the boundaries you created.

In both dramas FL’s are intelligent, cunning, and the backbone for their families. There is more humor in the family dynamic, but the family goes through many schemes that FL helps overcome.

Somehow, Designated Love reminds me of Miss Gu's 100 Confessions! The fact that it involves an immersive AR game and that it is all because of the male lead.

Both films show a young girl in a vulnerable situation who is victimized/preyed upon by an older guy. These films are not for the faint of heart and contain themes of pedophilia so be warned!!

The dynamic is sort of similar, one reluctant and the other ready to approach. Another similarity is proximity in living, while they share a house in To My Star, here they turn out to be neighbours. Lastly, both couples have ELECTRIC chemistry and manage to make you feel a lot even if the episode length and number is short.

Both feature a struggling musician who falls in love with a younger girl through music. The Liar and his Lover (kdrama) depicts the forbidden relationship between a famous musician and an aspiring singer high schooler, but it has a much lighter tone than the original jmovie. Fight Song is more about two people who’ve been depressed finding each other, discovering new beginnings and falling in love for the first time.

The Liar and his Lover is more dramatic and talks about dealing with fame/forbidden love, while Fight Song is more about two people who’ve been having difficulties in life discovering new beginnings and falling in love for the first time.
