Both MLs are princes who are under a curse/poison which makes them transform once a month. Both FLs's souls transfer to a different body at the beginning and live under that person's identity.

Both dramas have similar couple dynamics and sensuality. Both actors are very comfortable with each other and depict realistic scenes of romance and bonding. The series are high quality with lovely costumes and cinematography.

Both FLs are villains who would do anything to satisfy their ambition and their hunger for power. However, they're both extremely complex too, with tragic backstories explaining their motivations.

Same screenwriter, villainous FL, mostly morally grey characters and one of the main stories revolve around a big conglomerate/chaebol. Plot twists in nearly every episode.

The older brother steps up to take responsibility. Both are stories about siblings. In Brother Beat, the mother is still alive. Brother Beat has more comedic tone.

Both are wuxias and bromances or censored BLs. Both have similar weapons - fans and a flexible sword - and fight scenes. Both MLs have similar personalities - one is an assassin since young who plays a flute, the other, in order to leave some place, took a punishment which will shorten his life, devastating the other ML when he finds out.

- Ha Yun Seo (Cinderella at 2am) was paid by Ju Won's family to leave him
