Despite his phobia of airplanes, Jae Hyuk decides to go to Hawaii for his daughter. At the airport, Jae Hyuk is distracted by a suspicious man with a threatening tone walking around. The KI501 flight departs Incheon Airport and heads for Hawaii, but soon a man dies for an unknown reason, and the situation of fear and confusion spreads not only on the plane but also on the ground. Upon hearing the news, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Sook Hee, formed a counter-terrorism countermeasure headquarters and convened an emergency response meeting to find a way to land the KI501.

The main difference is that The Air is a GL story, while Thara Himalai is a straight romance. In The Air, the love interest is the princess's bodyguard, whereas in Thara Himalai, the female lead is a doctor.

it shares the same justice fantasy where an ordinary-looking authority figure secretly possesses extraordinary abilities. much like teach you a lesson, the protagonist enters school environments dominated by violence and intimidation, protecting students and taking on threats that conventional teachers couldn't handle. the tone is lighter and more comedic, but the feeling of "the bullies finally met someone stronger" remains almost exactly the same.
