AiB3 does really remind me of this one than its 1st season cause both faced the "game/dream" mastermind.

No news on the adaptation so I’m purely talking about the book; Breaking Through the Clouds (Po Yun) which is BL.

‘Enemies to Lovers’, hidden identity, leads who were fated to meet each other one day in the same line of work. (Also since Turkish ones can’t be added, check out Yargi. It’s straight but the ml is a prosecutor who married a lawyer wife. Very suspenseful, intense, and brains lol).

A young girl who contemplates suicide by jumping off a building meets a wounded ghost. The bleeding ghost is an assassin, and they will go through several cases.

Hinata is a journalist who aspires to be a writer. Yeong Su is Set up to take over his father's Hotel chain but is an aspiring artist. They meet while she is in Koreaon temporary assignment for her job and they get off on the wrong foot. However, when Yeong Su goes to Japan for business, he ends up causing a media frenzy and disappears, much to his advisor's horror. They bump into each other on the street and she brings him home, to her boyfriends dismay. As they slowly fall in love, a large number of obstacles stand in their way, the least of which is their different nationalities. This is a "Mobile" drama which means it is a movie sliced into 12 episodes

After a devastating failure as a spatial designer in South Korea, Lee Yu Bin retreats to a remote Japanese island to start over. There, he meets Shirahama Karin, a strawberry farmer living with a mysterious illness. Though they come from different countries and lead completely opposite lives, their chance encounter blossoms into a heartfelt cross-border love story that changes them both.

Japan and Korea's biggest names star in this big-scale drama. Nishijima Sho is a Japanese detective whose father was murdered in Korea when he was still a boy. In hopes of discovering the truth behind his father's death, Sho is working undercover in a huge secret organization. Choi Yuna is a Korean woman who visits Japan in search of her missing father. She opens a Korean restaurant with her younger sister, but soon faces the mercy of fate. The couple meets in a corner of Tokyo and falls in love. But what waits ahead of them. A "rondo" of fate, love, and history is about to begin.

The story revolves around Rinka, a wedding planner, who herself has very little luck with romance. When her company links up with dating app Will Will, Rinka reluctantly registers and is matched up with Tomu. When they meet, Tomu looks totally different from his picture, and he soon messages her relentlessly.

At the same time, several newly married couples who met through the app are murdered in rapid, grisly succession. All of them were Rinka’s clients. Frightened and coming under suspicion for the deaths, she reaches out to the dating app’s programmer, Kageyama, for help.

Zhai Zi Lu also played the immature young master in Under the Moonlight, though he is giving a different enough performance in Cases Between Us to distinguish between the two. They both also feature corruptions in power in local governments, institutions, and strong families vs the people, class, and women's injustices.

Both are BL comedy dramas about a fanboy who ends up working with his idol and tries to hide the fact that he's a stan as they gradually fall for each other.

Both are romantic thrillers centered on uncovering the truth behind a case.
It features strong chemistry, intense tension, and plenty of unexpected plot twists that keep the story engaging from beginning to end. As the characters work together to solve the mystery, their relationship gradually develops, making the romance feel just as exciting as the investigation.

The story between these two dramas is not inherently the same but the feeling they give you is very similar. The dread and genuine sadness you feel watching these two movies is insane. To be honest, one is definitely better than the other but theyre both still really good.

Both of these series revolve around story. most "BLs" are just romanced based and have no deeper depth than just romance but these two are some of my favorite queer stories to ever be made. They touch on the realistic love that queer men have with each other. what I took from both of these stories is that love is not just physical intimacy, its emotional intimacy.
