one is movie and more dark but they both have:

very good acting and chemistry between characters.

- the main role from both shows accused guilty of their (too much) self-defense act

- both shows have comedies despite the prison life hardships
- Shark has Ahn Hyun-min character and Prison Playbook has Beobja/Jailbird character which I think both have quite similar entertaining vibes

The love between ML and FL reminds me of Akai Ito. Something holds back ML and because of that he doesn’t pursue FL right away.

Both are cute comedy. A man with suprise baby. Cute mom. New daddy and people around. The chaos, the new adjustment, fun easy watch.

The unfaithful (Mina and Chat, Jennifer and Jay) driven by desire, and the two faithful (Vee and Jay, Kua and Nam) trapped by love, and used for lust.

The male lead both have a very long life due to 'something' they are trying to break out the mystery. There's also Estelle Chen.

quite different vibes and atmosphere but similar relationships:

in both dramas: 2 boys and girl are close friends from childhood, they were together in good and bad times, supported each other in hard times, always together in and out of school. Girl secretly loves one of the guys (ML) and another guy loves her.
But things change when another girl comes in picture and ML develops feelings to her. Their friendship changes, ML changes...

though both dramas are about high school teens but "Tempted" has more mature vibe and somehow little dark.

p.s. both dramas have light sexy undertone (in "tempted" it's more in "3 friends part" and friend female/ML relationship, in "Kinkyori Renai" it's more light and related with sexy second female (who came later in picture). Overall both dramas have one sexy female )))

Both dramas talk about Japanese traditions and having to inherit the family business. Also, both have romance involved.

In both dramas the legal enforcers work together with an allegedly criminal to unreveal the big schemer in the dark and get entangled in a big conspiracy that can shake the foundations of the big bustling towns, the protagonists live in, or even worse.
Appart from plot similarities and the fast pacing, there are parallels in very good chinematographic and music stylistic means used to substanciate the emotions like suspense, action and to make the big town, at their respective epoch, lively and belivable.

Both shows put a strong focus on the preparation of one specific dish per episode. There is a bit more actual plot to Kinou Nani Tabeta? but I think the food part still plays a major role.
