While Couple or Trouble is primarily a romantic comedy focused on the changing relationship between its leads, Our Sticky Love blends its lighthearted romance with suspense and crime. Netflix describes it as combining “fish-out-of-water” comedy, nostalgic romance, and noir-style suspense, making it both a feel-good romance and a mystery surrounding Eun-sae’s forgotten past and the gang that threatens both protagonists.

Very similar set-up with twin FLs. One dies and the other takes the dead one's place for revenge. Lots of business drama, mysteries, and high-stakes.

This the original story. And its good and funny. Its a little different in the story but really good.

Both stories were based and focused on Sun Wukong. While the plot on both movie and drama were quite different, the two had something in common. The two movie and drama had Xie Miao, Thomas Price and Nan Sheng.

In both shows, Xie Miao played the Monkey King while Nan Sheng played a beautiful demon who'll later becomes the love interest of the monkey. And both shows had Xie Miao's character be at odds with Thomas Price 's character.
