By episode 4 of “Love Is Science?”, I finally realized why it felt so familiar: it has a lot in common with “In Time with You”.
“In Time with You” isn’t a jiejie romance, BUT it’s also a Friends to Lovers slow burn. Both FLs are successful and career-driven, but deeply hurt by a past relationship. They’re also very introspective about life, love, and getting older. Both MLs are warm, caring, and supportive.

If you loved Hidden Love, you absolutely must watch A Little Thing Called First Love because they are both the gold standard for "secret crush" stories. Both dramas are incredibly sweet and focus on a young girl’s patient, innocent love for an older boy she admires from afar. Differences: Secret Relationships is more toxic and violent. Peach Trap is fluffier and less serious.

Both are slow burn romance with focus on character development and have beautiful visuals. The feel and pacing are similar, though the actual plot is very different. The focus on LBL is focused on the two leads with very few side stories, MY is all about the ensemble cast. Meet yourself doesn’t have a real villain or any childhood trauma that binds or tears the leads apart, it is more about their personal growth. At least that’s what I remember, I just kept thinking about MY as I was watching LBL. Let me know if you agree.
