If you liked the identity mystery aspect ( falling for someone's talent/persona before knowing their face), this is a lighter, fluffier take on that theme. It focuses on the world of professional voice acting and gaming. It's much lower on the 'thriller' scale than LBL, but it captures digital connection to real-life romance beautifully.
The same epic comedic tone, a protagonist who grew up with a concept of wealth far beyond the reach of ordinary mortals. In both cases, this leads to absurd and funny situations, with the difference that Me and Thee take itself less seriously. Worth watching if you’re looking for a wealthy protagonist who turns into a lovestruck mess over their companion, creating “this could only happen in a movie” moments, full of good feelings and deeply misunderstood.
Both ml like pretty clothes and are gender nonconforming, and both shows are a sweet comfort watch! The casting is impeccable in my opinion, mostly with Hikaru and Kuranosuke (tho the movie adaptation for Princess Jellyfish with Suda Masaki is superv as well!). If you enjoyed one, you'll love the other too!
If you liked Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, you might enjoy The Haunted Palace because both dramas mix romance with a supernatural twist in a really charming way. Each story brings the leads together through unusual, magical circumstances—one through enchanted food and curses, the other through ghosts and haunting mysteries. They share a similar vibe of light fantasy, warm chemistry, and a touch of mystery as the couple uncovers secrets and grows closer while dealing with the supernatural elements around them. The overall tone feels whimsical but emotional, making The Haunted Palace a nice follow-up for anyone who enjoyed the magical-romantic atmosphere of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.
Lovely Runner (2023) and 365: Repeat the Year are similar because both center around time travel used to change a tragic fate, creating a mix of suspense, emotion, and mystery. In Lovely Runner, the main character goes back in time to save the person she loves from a painful future, while in 365, the characters reset their lives to avoid past misfortunes but end up facing even more dangerous consequences. Both dramas explore how altering the past affects relationships, creates new timelines, and uncovers hidden truths. They share a strong emotional core, high-stakes tension, and the theme of desperately trying to fix what went wrong, making them appealing to fans of fate-changing storylines and tightly woven time-travel plots.
If you enjoyed Disguised Family, Spy x Family is a great follow-up because both focus on a fake family created for a specific mission. Each character hides a major secret, which leads to funny misunderstandings, tense moments, and a lot of heart as their pretend relationships slowly turn real. The blend of comedy, action, and wholesome found-family development feels very similar, making Spy x Family a perfect recommendation for fans of hidden identities and unconventional family dynamics.

It's a similar plot but better written and in my opinion better executed.

Takarada Takara works for a company. On a rainy day, he walks helplessly without an umbrella. Somehow, he watches a stage play performed by theatrical troupe Eiyu. Takarada Takara becomes touched by Kamoshima Yujin's performance. Afterwards, Takarada Takara decides to quit his job and become an actor. He also joins theatrical troupe Eiyu.
Similarities: both MCs are in the acting/theatre world.
Differences: Double is a lot darker and has a bit of a unique plot for a BL centered on actors. A lot less fluffy romance and more... co-dependent? I can't think of a better for to describe it haha, I don't want to call it toxic but it's definitely not healthy.

Similarities:
- Both make fun of drama tropes! In Me and Thee, they satirize soap opera tropes through the MC, in AMWDTWOBL they make fun of general BL tropes.
- Both hilarious comedies where a character learns to let go and fall in love.
Differences:
- Me&Thee is in Thai. Plus, while it's still very funny, it has a more serious and chronological(?) plot line.
- AMWDTWOBL has a over-arching story sure, but really it's a bunch of short episodic scenarios rather than a plot that builds on itself.

The female lead was the same situation where they lost becameing themself with their past life, and the female lead has feeling love but guilty at the same time with male lead
Revenant and Head Over Heels actually feel surprisingly similar once you line them up. In Revenant the female lead is the one pulled into the supernatural, dealing with possession and a dark mystery that completely flips her life upside down. Meanwhile, in Head Over Heels, it’s the male lead who suddenly gets thrown into the spirit world, forced to deal with ghosts and strange abilities he never asked for. Both dramas pair the affected character with someone who helps them navigate the chaos, creating a partnership built on uncovering hidden truths and trying to stay one step ahead of forces they barely understand. Even though Revenant is much darker and Head Over Heels leans more romantic and warm, they share that same core idea of ordinary people being dragged into the supernatural and having their lives changed forever.
This is also love story of a group of friends but all love stories do progress together. Not one of my favorite multi star dramas but its watchable
