Psychopath Diary and Kill Me, Heal Me are similar in that they feature a male protagonist facing deep psychological issues that shape the main plot. Both series skillfully blend suspense, mystery, and moments of humor to lighten dark themes. They explore the journey of self-acceptance and inner healing, while incorporating a romance that adds a strong emotional dimension. Finally, the twists and turns and secrets revealed keep the viewer on the edge of their seats until the end.

Woo Ri the Virgin and My ID is Gangnam Beauty share several similarities despite their different plots: both feature a strong heroine who seeks to assert herself in the face of societal expectations, whether around purity or physical appearance. These series offer social criticism of cultural norms in South Korea, while blending humor, emotion, and sincere romance with respectful partners. They also place a strong emphasis on family, which strongly influences the characters' choices. In short, they are two stories centered around identity, resilience, and self-love.

If you enjoyed Weak Hero Class 1, Pyramid Game is another must-watch! It explores school life, power dynamics, and how far people will go just to survive in a brutal system.

If you like historic dramas with a good dose of humour that just fits naturally and unforced, then The Litchi Rd & The Long River fits the bill. The Long River is a very high production drama, and you will see this in scenery and costume, but The Litchi Rd has more punch and is more fast paced.

Poignant, familial struggles, gritty. The themes of tragedy and deep heavy themes are present here.

The themes are similar. Familial, struggling connections, misplacement, tragedy with a bit of redemption and hope in the end.

Both dramas unfold in adult settings where the leads face strict no dating rules. The relationships start as something casual and secret, then deepen as real feelings appear. I love the stolen glances and quiet tension that builds whenever the characters think no one is watching.

These two share an intense hidden world. Pit Babe uses racing culture and secret abilities, while Color Rush centers on a sensory condition that only one special person can unlock. In both shows the romance changes how the leads see everything around them and creates the same mix of danger, devotion, and wonder.

I chose Top Form because both stories blend rehearsal life, group chemistry, and an almost forbidden love. In each drama the leads know their feelings could ruin everything, so the romance simmers under the surface until it finally breaks through. That mix of teamwork, performance pressure, and love that “shouldn’t” happen feels identical in the best way.

They both deal with fame, imbalance in status, and the messiness of love behind the scenes of entertainment. One’s more mature, the other more youthful, but they complement each other nicely.

They both hit that emotional, high school energy. Quiet characters, emotional tension, and some familiar faces , since the main actors in a Shoulder to Cry On show up in both.

Aside from the fact that the ML in My Stubborn is also named Jun (lol), there are other similarities. Both are office romances where the main couple reunites after some time spent apart AND there is some sort of power dynamic in the office (boss/supervisor vs subordinate/intern).

If you like an ML that is DOWN BAD for his partner, you will like both dramas.

Top Form is a more serious version of 25:00 in Akasaka. Both are really great and feature a budding actor in the industry and a veteran actor falling in love and facing obstacles in the process. I've rewatched both—they're so good!
