There are several reasons I find Resident Playbook similar to My Liberation Notes.

First it’s about life, and the main character seems tired of work, and tired of many things. She’s nonchalant and looks aloof on the exterior. But we see their development.

And the drama shows us the lives of several people, and how they deal with what comes in their way. The siblings in MLN and the first year residents in RP.

Then we have a heart-stealing ML on the side who seems a bit older than the rest. Looks-wise they are both the not your flower-boy looking ML and that’s refreshing, but character wise they are different.

The FL approaches and makes moves on the ML first, and the relationship is a beautiful slow-burn that compliments the drama episodes. But never too much.

With different themes, in both cases the whole drama is a very relatable life scenario, but RP is a lot brighter.

A fake pretends to be the lost child.
Two people fall in love with a certain confusion about identities. (i.e. fake-incest)

Beautiful historic dramas with a tense edge

However, KDSBH took its time to layout everything and carry on the story. It's much easier to sympathise with. And it's a proper full sageuk.

O You Are My Rose (2025) foi lançado antes, mas ambos possuem o enredo policial/investigativo e acidente que faz com que o ML cuide da FL.
Um mais direto, outro mais sutil, nas sombras.
Um mais frio, outro mais suave.

The main lead movés from the big city to the countryside.
In Meet Yourself she goes to a village where she doesn't know anyone, but learns to love the place and the people.
In Grocery Store the ML comes back to the village where he grew up and reunites with old friends.
Both dramas explore the life in the countryside and little villages, where people still have old crafts and professions.
Both dramas also treat the theme of parents having to leave the town to go to work to bigger cities, leaving their children with their grandparents.
Grocery Store is more nostalgic but both dramas have similar vibes.

My Liberation Notes and Our Unwritten Souls are both slowburn stories where nothing crazy happens at first, but they hit you emotionally. They’re about people who feel lost, tired of their boring lives, and are just trying to find a reason to keep going. Both have deep, relatable quotes about life that stay with you. It’s not loud or dramatic—it’s quiet, real, and honest. You slowly watch the characters grow and try to understand themselves. If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure about life, these stories will feel very real to you.

Both help ghosts with their unsolved cases so the first time I read the synopsis of “Oh My Ghost Clients” reminded me of “Missing”

I think both these dramas give same vibes.. bettering themselves and away from modern world.. peaceful yet have a touch of chaos.. Genz is more comedic and buzzling than meet yourself.. but meet yourself is the best among these

Well, I can copy the recommendation by KAELEE for Doctor Slump, that is:
"VERY SIMILAR!!!!
We find:
- the male lead who is a respected professional (in this case a doctor instead of architect)
- the female lead who stopped her career
- always the female lead who broke off her engagement and hides the real reason from her family
- the conflicting mother/daughter relationship
- the leads were known young
- the male lead gets along well with the parents of the female lead".

No new ideas for new dramas?

“In the SOOP” takes place in a house in the woods, and the concept is to spend time “somewhere between everyday life and leisure". Seventeen cook their own food and also try out different hobbies

Both from the same source material.
Both feature a FL who stepmother and half-sister who moved in and taken over FL property created by her mother. ML is engaged to FL's half-sister but helps the FL.

Both these dramas are heartbreaking historicals, tragedies in slow motion. The romance in moon lovers is epic and both of the ML back stories will hurt your soul.

Both shows are from totally different genres but I felt some similarities:
Both series have story to tell about the decreased
Also the main actor ( Tang Jun- sang) of MTH is also playing a crucial character in OMGC
