both are supernatural mysteries that are very aesthetically pleasing. the FLs both have secret powers that are hidden from the ML, while the MLs are strong but normal humans who adore the FLs. both dramas are about a romance that seems doomed to fail and overcoming various obstacles.
both are revenge stories involving the royal family that have the FL and ML using each other while also falling in love. the main characters are morally ambiguous and the stories are somewhat dark.
- psychopath/sociopath FL
- similar vibes of female leads
- ML a little dark (though more in Genie than Dear X)
- grandma(-like) figure that FL bonds with
- FL has shit parents

Same FL, also scheming in a good way. ML doesn't start out willing to give her everything but eventually gets there.

Idk I just kept getting reminded of Prison Playbook while watching The Manipulated (especially the first half).... actually yeah they have nothing in common lol but go watch it still, it's a good one
Both FLs escape death after betrayal and assume the identity of the abandoned dead daughter of a wealthy household in order to get revenge for both her and themselves. Both MLs are mysterious figures.
Both MLs have swords/spears through their chest from how they died that only the FL can see and remove.
Same ML actor
Time travel plot where the FL transports from adult life back to university days
Touch seems a little more mature

Both of the shows main guy is Lee Junho, so if you enjoyed his acting in one you might also find the other really good. For his character love pushes his character to confront his past wounds, trust issues, or insecurities, which creates some character growth.
His, Lee Junho, chemistry with the lead actresses are amazing and can be seen in both shows already from episode 1.
King the Land lightly touches on corporate and family expectations, while Tycoon Family goes heavier into internal conflict within the company due to the IMF crisis so in that sense they are a bit different.

- Monster next door is the main leads first drama as a pairing.
-Both dramas have a kind and patient main lead.
- Both have humor and light hearted theming.
- Both are about two polar opposites: MND: (introvert and extrovert) MAW: (poor and rich).

Both are taking place into the acting world, with one character being older, in their role of mentor toward a younger one with a bit of an enemies to lovers trope
