The main characters are very similar. Both try to achieve some sort of revenge related to their past. To do so differents cases which end up being connected are solved throughout the series. Main difference is the setting, tv station vs lawyers.

Both Fah Jarod Sai and Tam Hua Jai Pai Sood Lah feature strong female leads who face love under cultural or familial pressure. In each story, romance grows from difficult or unwanted circumstances—Michelle is forced into palace politics and sent to the desert as a royal concubine substitute, while Danielle is pushed into an arranged marriage by her stepfather. Despite these challenges, both women show resilience and independence, ultimately choosing love on their own terms. Set against exotic, culturally rich backdrops, the dramas blend emotional depth with escapist storytelling through royal intrigue and foreign traditions.

Pee Nak 3 has a lot of set up for Pee Nak 4, a few scenes from this movie actually form the basis of the sequel.

The leads are also the same in both movies, with an exception of a few characters who don't reprise their roles in the sequel.

In both dramas, the FL enters a fictional world. In “The First Night with the Duke” the FL enters a romance manhwa while in “W” the FL enters an action manhwa. In both, the appearance of the FL significantly changes the plot line, and their involvement in the story turns the FLs into main characters of their respective worlds. Both dramas have a bit of action, romance, and comedy— so I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a good show to watch!!

Both:
- hit some of the same emotional notes.
- have characters who feel relatable and go through real growth, especially in the face of tough decisions and hidden feelings.
- with spirits and shaman powers,
- have the same mix of tension, heart, and youthful energy.
- the chemistry between the leads totally works
Sad that the episodes of The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim are way shorter.
