When five college students share a house, they also share their experiences with life and love. Han Yi Tong, Ni Jin, Chen Chen Chen, Lin Xiao Chun, and Zhang Sheng Nan are roommates who share a house while attending the same university. Can they support each other through the many challenges they face?
Both surround a group of 6 highschoolers finding and learning more about themselves. With a light hearted and bright FL and a corresponding genius and cold ML with family issues. Following their journey from youth with humor and love found along the way. Both dramas take place in early 2000s China with a similar charm and retro vibes.
Both dramas are about bullying at school, fight gangsters, friendship, Rivalry , revenge..............
From best friends to something more, this drama beautifully explores the delicate line between deep friendship and romantic love. It tells the story of two individuals whose bond runs so deep, it almost feels like brotherhood. But could their feelings be more than just friendly affection? Will they take the leap and embrace a new chapter together, or will they choose to stay within the safety of the relationship they've always known?
Both dramas have investigation & crime genre and good action scenes. The chemistry of both leads are off the chart…One of the leads is a cop. They are both censored BL with serious tone. Really worth watching!
- Both are censored adaptation of BL novels
- Both have investigation/mystery & many cases that will eventually connect into bigger plot
- Both have sizzling chemistry btw the leads…You can tell that it’s more than bromance & there’s definitely something there just by how they look at each other
- Both have rich & smart leads
- Both ML have good fighting skills
- No annoying characters in the investigation team
The main difference: JITD has a much darker tone…

- a deity is attached to a mortal girl
- they are trying to save as many ghosts as they can
- the ML is both cold and arrogantly funny
- the FL is serious and has a tragic past
but I hope THP has a happy ending, unlike Korean Odyssey

Plot: A newlywed couple gets wrapped up in a serial killing game where each resident writes down someone they want dead.
Vibe: Paranoid, suspenseful, cleverly twisted.
Why: Every character is suspicious. Every clue is part of a bigger puzzle.

Both dramas feature identical twins with different personalities. In this drama(ugly beauty) the younger sister pretends to be the older one for a while (I won't reveal why, that’s the main plot!). In both dramas (as per description of our unknown Seoul) after the switch, both sisters end up finding their true love.
the plot just thr chinese version of marry my husband nothing much changed about from the language , country of production and the actresss it is stilll ongoing
Both shows focus on adjusting to living in a different country. In My Name is Gabriel, the participants live someone else’s life in all respects. In Busan Boys, the participants live together and are trained to take on different jobs while also having some fun as if on a working holiday.
It's not too similar but i kind of get the psycho vibe of both jin and jaemin being like "im the only one that can have him and stuff" but i think from how far i am in secret love its more toned down than secret relationships but they are both amazing BL's in my opinion (edit: it gets past the possessive bit fast but they are both still a bit similar)
If you like this type of show, then you will definitely like Iron Family too. The settings and the overall storyline is very similar between these two dramas
