These titles are similar to me for various reasons: love in racing scenarios; Someone is being pursued; Some nice action and slow burn; Cast is hot as hell

On the one hand, their settings are very different--Korean historical versus Chinese 20th century--but both tell epic tales over years of the characters' lives and interweave the maturing of the country with the maturing of the characters.

Both take a bit of time to grow attached to the characters but then you become SO sympathetic with them that the feels are intense.

Both have some romance but it is not the only ingredient (it is definitely featured more in My Dearest). Both are very well acted and nicely paced.

Both leave you feeling like you experienced something meaningful.

Both of the dramas has "second chance romance" trope.
Both has "first love" trope too.
Similar reason to break up.
"Smart girl - lazy boy" trope ( in their high-school era)
Both are definitely for a lovers of "slow burn"

Both have a supernatural ML.
ML has a similar personality being hot and cold.
ML is very romantic

-both have a very romantic love story that is worth the build up

Both were sweet romantic dramas, with a little bit of pining and family obstacles, but the leads only have eyes for each other the whole time. There was a similar calm, almost slow burn to both stories which gave them a similar vibe.

MLs are both mature intovert guys, green flag, respect women, fell in love with younger girls then these dramas are worth watching. love every scene on both dramas

The background and premise of the plot is almost exactly similar except one is the husband disappeared/ran away and another is a sudden “accidental” death….

Only key difference is one is basically a legal drama, another is more of a thriller/mystery….

It's a bromance obv. And also this jitd give you massive heartbreak so you gotta cure it with some pure bromance ?

Ruan Zhen Zhen has led a simple and happy life under the protection of her financial guru husband. Everything disappears in a flash after the death of her husband. Both are short length fantasy romcom cdramas about a female lead who works as the secretary/assistant to an overbearing CEO male lead who is inconvenienced by a strange curse/disease that causes him to physically transform.

The main characters in both series are being chased by people who are trying to assassinate them. The main characters are able to defend themselves and use weapons; not only that, they're up against an organization with strong people.

The guardians do their best to protect their family from the psychotic characters in both of these series. They try to keep the child safe from the world in case of a crisis. The main protagonists gradually discover more about themselves and the past of their guardian. There are plenty of action scenes in both series that most viewers would find entertaining.
