Be are old toku with similar special effects both are light heart series where the enemies cause a lot of mischief the main characters both have kid companions

Both of these dramas are adapted by the same writer (Mo Bao Fei Bao) for the novels and has a similar vibe, where the drama talks a lot about cooking and eating. The leads slowly approach each other and eventually fall in love

Flex X Cop is def lighter, but they both focus on action and police officers working as a team to solve case with a side comedy of course.
The First Responders also involves firefighters and paramedics, and is much more of a thriller (and emotional) show.
The MLs are quite similar too.

The series have a completely different setting, lenghth and budget and come from different countries but both of them have a good overall quality, attractive actors and an interesting plot.

SPOILERS AHEAD (especially regarding Lovely Writer)

In both series, the main characters knew each other in childhood (when the younger boy already developed a crush on the older one) and when they are adult, the younger one appears in the life of the older one again, with the intention of making him fall for him and having a relationship with him. Paradoxically, the younger one became bigger and more confident/dominant in the adulthood, so the roles kinda reverse and the older one can no longer look down on him.

Both deal with parallel universes and a celebrity ending up with another life situation as previously. Also the way they cross universes is similar.

Has the same main plot line. Two academic rivals who know each other since childhood develop feelings for each other, aka enemies to lovers trope. It is also in a university setting.

Both dramas are about young couples ( The MLs are a bit older than the FLs)
They are cute, fluffy, full of sweet scenes.
The stories are a bit different but both are feel-good dramas with so many romantic scenes.

First and foremost,MSG is airing and LIAO is to be aired.With that being said,I think that they share some similar topics from the synopsis here and what I have seen so far from the airing series.

I would recommend this drama Just in cuase you like the second male lead , The SMl is same as the other drama.

Both BL dramas portray a relationship where the main characters cohabitate and one of them kinda pushes/manipulates the other one to have a romantic/sexual relationship with him by taking care of him and making him feel grateful/guilty and dependant on him. Although it is not fully consensual on both sides from the beginning, it gradualy becomes a regular-ish relationship. Both the dramas are Japanese and quite mature.

Both are Japanese BL dramas based on a manga. In both of them, one of the main characters is very busy with his work and has no personal life but someone who has loved him for a long time starts to make attempts to make his life happier and to get close to him at the same time.
