So these are completely different genres; Octogenarians isn’t even a romance to begin with. But the warm atmosphere, healing qualities and the stories of different elders depicted reminded me of each other. Also Guo San Shuang is a dead ringer for Hong Du Shik, which should count for something.

- I love it because, in both stories, the women are sassy and courageous.

I know the last episode can be hectic and make you mad but it's worth watching this drama. Everything about it just catches you and you will ask for a second season just like we have since 2019.
