Boys Over Flowers is the third official drama adaptation of the Japanese manga “Hana Yori Dango” and it is also the most famous adaptation. F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers is the 5th official drama adaptation of that same manga. So even though there are minor differences, the overall story is the same.

Both dramas have a complicated love story. It seems to be impsible! Male Lead is obsessed with the woman he loves.

they both have the lucid dreams concept which is the main plot in both. Awaken is about a serial killer who uses lucid dreams as his weapon and convinces people to do dangerous things that are fatal while they are awake in the real world. Lucid is about a man who uses lucid dreams to find his kidnapped son.

Both of these Thai GL short films double as ads and feature prominent scenes where one of the leads is looking up information pertaining to what actions to take with the other FL.

Both FLs are betrayed and murdered by the man they love. They then get a second chance at life (time travel vs. their soul entering someone else's body) and set out for revenge against that man. Along the way they become involved with that man's kind-hearted brother.
