Very similar. Main characters participate in death games to win items.
Zero focuses more on games than AiB.

Both deal with love and grief set in the past. Although, AOS has magic both show deal with spirits. Both have serious notes as well moments of sadness. The shows also has have an action component as well. I am currently watching them both and they have a similar vibe.
both are historical | costume dramas where the female and male leads are smart and attractive.
both are really well-made dramas that give similar vibes

A change in the stakeout team throws Onoe, reporter for a weekly magazine, together with his contemporary, Kaburagi, a photographer. Onoe secretly considers Kaburagi his rival, and Kaburagi's haphazard way of doing things goes against Onoe's strong sense of ethics. There's nothing but conflict between them. But, in joint pursuit of a scandal, the two of them begin to care about each other...? ~~ Adapted from the manga "Ameiro Paradox" by Natsume Isaku

Both series have an unexpected pregnancy, one drugged, and the other drunk. Both suffer controlling parents, and male created misunderstanding loops. With crying and anger being the main couples' story through most of both dramas. One right up and until the last episode, the other a few episodes sooner.
They are similar in terms of:
- They're both are in historical setting (to be precise, in kingdoms)
- Female Lead is knowledgable about food and they're known to make such outstanding and revolutionary food/culinary that were praised by other characters in the drama.
- Female Lead is in the situation where they are forced to marry Male Lead
- Female Lead is reluctantly to do skinships with her partner, and her partner doesn't force her to do so.
- Female Lead doesn't know etiquette inside the Palace
- Female Lead is smart (not academically, but more of a street-smart type or witty)
- Male Lead is pretending to be not who they actually is (in Mr. Queen, the King pretended to be dumb and weak, while New Life Begins 6th Prince is pretending to be weak and is trying to lay low on purpose)
- Male Lead chases Female Lead first
- Both dramas are very comedic
- Both dramas are light hearted, not too much melodramatic elements
- Both dramas showcase the life of a man with concubines (in Mr. Queen the FL is a queen, while the concubine is evil side-character, on the other hand, New Life Begins FL is a concubine)
The differences are:
- Mr Queen is a fantasy RomCom drama while New Life Begins is a normal RomCom drama
- Female Lead in Mr Queen is strong headed and badass, on the other hand, New Life Begins Female Lead is more timid
- In Mr. Queen, FL can only rely on her husband and her maid servants, but in New Life Begins, FL is actually making sisterhood bonds with a lot of females - the wives and concubines of the Princes.
