This is movie version of short TV series Life: Senjou no Bokura, about two young boys falling in love in their teens and then breaks up when one of the boy start to feel the pressure of society and his parents who urge him to get married and have been. They breakup and the other boy get married.
Same like More then Words, boys breakup when one is worried about having normal life and family. So both series share same storyline but different outcome, however the essence of story is to accept the truth about you, accept your true self in order for to be truly happy.

Both are super short vertically filmed dramas that are just moments of fluffy romance between a cute couple.

Rough around the edges MLs with criminal pasts who turn their lives around because of a girl, "Man in love" is more of a romantic kind of relationship while "Lighting up the stars" is more of a father-daughter relationship , both slice of life dramas with a lot of deaths in them, both are tearjerkers...and they also have a similar vibe.
Both dramas involve a rich ML who needs to marry a woman to appease his ill grandparent who raised him and is his only relative. He enters into a contract marriage with the FL who has swapped places with his original contract marriage fiancée, her identical twin. The ML and the replacement bride end up falling in love.
Both are mini dramas in which identical FLs of different personalities swap places in a contract marriage to a rich CEO after the original fiancée runs off/disappears shortly before the wedding. The ML ends up falling for the replacement bride.
Both dramas have a contract relationship between a rich CEO and a poor and quirky FL.

Both are mini dramas in which the couple breaks up due to manipulation by the rich ML's relatives, and the FL, who is poor, gives birth to and raises their child alone. Five years later the couple crosses paths again and begin to grow close, raising their child, all while dealing with the ML's relatives.
Both are short length dramas in which the ML treats the FL coldly, blaming her for something she didn't do, and the two separate, with the FL giving birth to and raising their child alone. A few years later the ML finds her and their son and brings them back to his home. Both have rich ML/poor FL, a SML pursuing the FL, and scheming relatives of the ML.
