The core reason for their similarity is that Burn to Win was created as a spiritual (but unauthorized) successor to A Clean Sweep by the original production company, Studio C1, after they split from the broadcaster JTBC

similarities:
- the overall "vibes" of the drama are very similar
- both dramas have this chill atmospheric feel to them where we get to see a kind of love that isn't crazy but rather slow and soft
- the ML is also a dad who is single
- both FLs are strong /independent career women who are somewhat lonely, specially romantically

differences
- for Love Scout the FL is the complete opposite in terms of personality. she is VERY direct unlike the FL in Love Me who always runs away from conflict and her feelings in general
- the mom if not in the picture in Love Scout
- Love Scout does have a SML unlike Love Me

firstly, both projects are p‘x’s ( x nuttapong ) works !
secondly, both series are romcoms
thirdly, the main couples from these series are the standard of healthy relationships
( personally for me )
fourthly, taynew ( the main couple from 'cherry magic' ) often filmed / made parodies of scenes / dialogues from 'me and thee'. also, they appeared in the final credits of the last episode of 'me and thee' together with off jumpol ( offgun )
enjoy watching ! < 3

The main character's illness is brought by trauma and their other personality is trying to protect them
Recommended by pen_p - Jan 17, 2026
It's similar, because they are both about enduring feelings of one having a crush on a friend or classmate. Even though School Trip is based in a school setting, while Countdown also started at school (because that's where everything begun) and later to common places known to everyone. They are both about pursuing your crush, until you win them over, through glances, gestures and persistence.

Both shows feature an older woman and younger man romance. The FLs are positioned in a role of providing direction for the MLs and are very capable in their careers. The MLs only have eyes for the FLs from the start and pursue the FLs with sincerity-- the chemistry is very apparent. The MLs show a lot of character growth over time and want to prove that they can be a stable match. The SMLs are mature and not overly problematic. Both shows are in a corporate setting.

Both very healing, slow burns. imo FBF walked so TBT could run. There are still some cliche's and some bumpiness in the storyline for FBF. But these are both very refreshing, focusing on a slower life (ML lives a slower life) while FL works in a customer-first intense job (FL adjusts to living a slower life). The backgrounds of the characters are very different though, leads are dealing ways to navigate and heal from their trauma. imo, also, both relationships really don't make sense at first, both sides do not want to burden the other side, but they show their love in unique ways. The production/storyline quality is a bit better for TBT, but I think the ML was a little too perfect, whereas FBF really showed ML and FL's strengths and weaknesses.
