They are both BL dramas with a supernatural/horror theme. Magic/ghosts, cheating and other unexpected plot twists.

Both deal with the mental health of patients and in both dramas the male leads struggle with mental illness.

Although the BL couple is not the main focus in Long Khong, both are supernatural/horror drama series with a BL touch.

If you want to try the melodrama version of this so-called "Fake Siblings at First" then this series is good for you.

-Many adaptations/remake were made from this series (Chinese, Korean, Thailand).
-You can also check the Chinese Movie of this series which is released last year entitle "Autumn's Fairy Tale".

Both are gaming dramas with lots of friendship and dream themes
King's avatar doesn't have much romance though but honestly i didn't really need that aspect.
-both involve the main character making their own group but in king's avatar the main character is a "retired" professional player.
i loved both equally so much!

Firstly they both star Bai Lu the female lead. I love both of these dramas equally. They are both workplace dramas. I found lucky's first love to have just a bit more fluff but other than that they were both hilarious. The male leads were pretty similar in terms of character and i really liked the side couples for both dramas.

-In my opinion is so much better than blooms at ruyi pavilion. the story line was very much more well written in legend of yunxi and had more depth. I also thought the characters in LoYX had more depth as well.
-for me blooms at ruyi pavilion was a bit more fluff than LoYx which was more serious had more plotting.
basically watch both! i watched ruyi pavilion bc i couldnt get enough of our otp

They are both as you can tell, crime/mystery/murder dramas. I liked both equally but towards the end it got a bit muddy and slow however if you really are craving a detective drama this might be it

Both are a supernatural/fantasy thriller centered in school, and shows a lot of bad things people can do to be accepted in school and in life. In Girl From Nowhere the FL is the "ghost" and, in Detention, the FL kinda has to deel with the ghost.

Both are crime solving dramas involving a great cast. however the main leads in Dr.Qin don't have any romance; its just friendship but the chemistry for friendship was there. I thoroughly enjoyed both although Dr.Qin is a bit more gruesome and involves more medical aspects

They both star wang yibo and are both wuxia/jianghu dramas. They also both have great fighting scenes in my opnion and the set is beautiful.

Dark, gritty, mature stories with a main character who is a sex worker. They were directed by the same person.

Both dramas have a similar concept. Both main characters use a device to contact a person from another time. In Kairos, it is a person from the future whereas in Signal it is a person from the past.

It's similar in the way that it's quirky, maybe not as quirky as Kotoko though.
There's also some comedy in KonoKoi, and a much more mature cast.

The romance factor is unrequited for the most part, similar to Itazura na Kiss.
There might be more heartache in KonoKoi because it only has ten episodes, while ItaKiss has two seasons.

The age gap between both leads are at least over ten years.
Naoki (Yuki Furukawa) and Kotoko (Honoka Yahagi) are ten years apart in age, while Takumi (Tomoya Nakamura) and Kiki (Nana Mori) are fourteen years apart in age.

both series set in university. cute first meetings with both couples and how they slowly fall in love. Saint Suppapong plays lead in both series <3
