Both focus on female friendships and depicts the realities of life and youth. I love how Just dance shows us the obstacles of life of all the girls, similar to sunny. In both of these, we see the coming of age story of the main character and the development of her high school friendships. While also learning life lessons.

In both dramas ML is rich and FL poor and hardworking. In both dramas ML at first hates FL. In Boys over Flowers characters are high schoolers, Cheese In the Trap is about college life, but the similarity is that they are still studying.

Take away the “potential” that the Gifted students have and you have Hormones. Both have a similar storytelling style where a theme/main storyline runs through the majority of the series but a specific story is focused on and about a character which is told during one or two episodes. The underlying challenges that HIgh School students face are well told in both series.

They are both comedies starring Arisa Mizuki and Issei Ishida, and directed by Mamoru Hoshi. The dramatic over-the-top music in both reminds one of the movie Back to the Future.

They both show the past and present stories of the characters. They both have that romantic, school and youth genre feels that I've been looking for in a series. Both have outstanding casts! Reply 1997 has been my fave ever since I first watched it and I tried watching Le Coup de Foudre just because I got curious of the series and I didn't regret it. Try and watch both! I really recommend them!

This was also about a teacher teaching their class a lesson. The teacher put his students through a whole lot of drama. But in the end, he probably wasn't as bad as the teacher in Lesson of the Evil, since he was trying to teach students an important lesson that wasn't evil.

Both have main characters who are tomboys who struggle with love. They both go through great lenghs for the one they love. No matter what happens they fight for each other. Even though both of the secondary characters dont want to fall in love with the main they do. Its a great story about over coming differences.

Both are investigation related shows with very similar production styles. The main cast is very similar between both shows. The major difference is that Who's the Keyman investigates non-murder incidences.
