Both start off very similar with cohabitation between students where one is unwilling and and holds a grudge against the other. They both have misunderstandings, they eventually learn to accept each other.

Tharntype is much more toxic than the love never sets due to the homophobia and deep communication issues.

The love never sets is softer, less abusive and has healing where the main lead has suffered past trauma (similar to tharntype).

Both drama follow actors, one seasoned and one new actor, falling in love. They have to hide their love for each other as they're constantly under the limelight of fame. The industry and their rivalry to be the best brings them turmoil and tension.
Fame or Love?

Can we choose our dreams and still have love?

Covers how actors have to sacrifice to maintain an "image" for the delcusion of fans. Actors are human too!!! AHH both love stories will tear are you heart and make you question what you'll sacrific and endure for love

Both dramas feature a lover who stays deeply faithful, standing by their partner through every hardship — even when the other person seems distant, cold, or unaware of their devotion. There’s also a fun corporate side to both stories!

In Queen of Tears, it’s the male lead who holds onto love no matter what, while in Bel Ami, it’s the female lead. If you liked the chemistry and emotional dynamic in Bel Ami, you’ll definitely enjoy Queen of Tears too — it’s like a more mature version of that chemistry. ??

"Restart After Coming Back Home" triggers a notion of missing something in (real) life. Whether it can be a callback to one's home/roots or it can be a longing for soul-ful connections. The drama "Our Dining Table" enhances a striking feeling within. It emphasises the beauty of eating together. Cooking for someone cannot be done without a love. The love is served and the warmth is shared.

Both are about traders who try to make deal, overcome many difficulties in order to establish their business. HOTS is a bit crazier and more interesting to me tbh (and funnier). TF has IMF setting which is quite cool and I love how practical and realistic the characters are (esp the female lead)

both similar in having single father ML and a successful FL. In both dramas, MLs are walking green flags and are fathers to pretty yet smart daughters, who help bring the leads together.
Also, both daughters have ailments.

Zomvivor is only similar to Train to Busan because of the zombie apocalyptic outbreak. The concept is similar. The world building is kinda similar in a very suspenseful tone.
