Ana, May, Pat and Art are four friends studying in London, nearing graduation. Pat soon finds out that his rich family have engaged him to a girl he does not like, and is expected to marry, upon his return to Thailand . The friends struggle to come up with a strategy to break the engagement and finally tell Pat to call his family and declare that he already has a wife. When Pat calls, his scary and strict older brother, Nadol, answers the phone. Nadol does not immediately fall for Pat's excuse and demands Pat breaks up with his wife. In the fluster of the stern questioning, Ana suggests to Pat to say that the wife is pregnant. Nadol replies he is flying to London to clear up the situation. Pat begs Ana to play the role of his wife. At first she refuses, but later she changes her mind and accepts for several reasons: first, she is now broke and Pat's offer of money is very tempting, and second, Ana knows that May has a huge crush on Pat and wants to help break off Pat's engagement in Thailand. When Nadol and Ana meet, sparks fly. As the charade continues, Ana has to maintain the image of the faithful pregnant "wife" to Pat, while Nadol struggles with the notion that he has fallen for his brother's wife. Edit Translation

The first half was amazing. It was funny, romantic, full of friendship and simply great. Unfortunately as soon as they return to Thailand the drama takes a nose-dive. It feels as if they changed the writers. The characters seem almost schizophrenic. They change their opinions at every turn. The only ones who stay constant are Pat - he just continues to be spineless right until the last two episodes - and the main couple. But those two were great! Krit and Matt had perfect chemistry and made it seem like it was real and not just for a lakorn. If the director had stayed true to the first half, the show would have been a new favourite of mine! As a whole I don't regret watching it!

Rating:

3 points = 'hmmm...'
Rewatch value: I normally don't rewatch dramas, therefore.....

6-7 points = 'it's not better or worse than any other drama out there'
Story: nothing new, but enjoyable nonetheless
Music: not bad, but not very memorable either

9 points = 'I loved it'
Acting: Matt and Krit were fascinating. I could imagine them reacting the same way in real life. And for once the gay best friend was kind of funny and not simply annoying. Besides, I loved their friendship! It showed throughout the whole show and made my heart all fluffy ;)

10 points = 'I would die for it'
I don't give away 10 points. It really is that simple :)

I was obviously curious to see this one because of Chakrit. And he is in this lakorn with one of his real life wives! So I wanted to see how much chemistry he would have with HER (Woonsen Virithipa). Unluckilly, he's not paired here with her but with Matt Peeranee, more than decade younger kid than him, so at first I was dissapointed with that, but seeing more of Woonsen (not just in this lakorn) I must admit that producers were right, as Woonsen is not a nang'ek material.

I found the lakorn long as I lost my interest in the story soon. The only fun was watching the lead guy believing that he's in love with his brother's wife (which she was not) who is pregnant (which she was not:) The rest was skippable: the usual load of side characters, two stupid evil nang'rai, etc... As for the second male, in the end I thought he might as well just married the girl his parents chosen for him.

So in the last 2-3 episodes, which are mainly about the aftermath when the truth is already revealed, I rooted for the main couple, couldn't care less for the second couple. Being called money-hungry fraud by the guy you fell in love with is devastating, so I felt for the nang'ek. He was always stern, she knew that, his character had a good introduction at the beginning of the lakorn (the way he treated his employees). On the other hand, her so called best-friend, who created the whole charade, didn't help much. But then it was really all weighing on whether the pra'ek loved enough to get over himself. Good. But the classic "action kidnapping" was not the ending I had in mind, LOL. Lakorn characters should be forbidden to use guns. That is, if we want the whole thing to not sink below average waters, at least:-p Therefore, rating this, I should ignore that part. To give still generous 5.0 (perfect average).
