'Healer' healed my Soul

This is the only time I've ever written a review about a show I liked. This is also the only show I never hit fast forward for even once. From start to finish Healer will grip you, pull at your heart, then heal you again. The acting is incredible and the chemistry between the ML and FL is phenomenal. The plot is non-stop and so well written, the action is fantastic and the characters all grow together. My only complaint is that it should have gone longer, it felt a bit rushed at the end even though everything tied up beautifully they could have stretched the last episode out to cover all the storylines of secondary characters. 10/10 would watch over and over again! Watch it now!!!

I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to watch Healer, especially since I’m such a huge fan of Ji Chang wook. I saw it was leaving Netflix and thought, now or never, and I’m so glad I finally watched it because I absolutely LOVED it.

It had everything, romance, action, suspense… and of course Ji Chang wook’s smile. The story kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the chemistry was incredible. The entire cast did an amazing job with their acting, and every character felt memorable.

Definitely one of those dramas I wish I could watch again for the first time and I just finished watching it.

Overrated is the only word to describe this show. Can't understand the hype at all. I understand they had to show background stories, but it was so boring. The plot is very loose and it is honestly a drag. I was patiently waiting for it to get a bit interesting, but nah! Maybe I am 1% of the population hating on this show, but seriously, this show is crap!
The finale was so rushed I didn't feel they had any closure. I was waiting for more to happen, for people to get punished and actually see their punishment, for something more. Anything that would change my opinion of the show. Nothing of the sort happened, wished I had passed on this show early.

Best storyline

Best drama with beautiful and well written story

Better dramas to watch

Unfortunately if I'm not hooked from the first episode then that's it.

Despite having watched many, many kdramas I haven't yet watched a JCW so decided to pick one out based on the reviews. Initially the concept was good.. but when too many other characters became involved, with their own unimportant flashbacks, the show lost me from that point onwards. Just something about it just irked me and I quickly lost interest. I am sure it will get better and feature JCW more prominently but I'd rather spend my time on a drama that grabs my attention quickly and leaves me wanting more and more. The Healer failed to heal me.
