I have been waiting for the subbed version for ages for this drama, and when I finally got it I started watching it.
This is such a sweet heartwarming and enjoyable story of a family with four boys and their problems and adventures.
Lots of laughs, light moments, endearing characters, sweet romance and some sad moments.
I would compare it to Ojak Brothers, but its quite different but similar in some ways. If you want to take some time out from all the heavy melos, and soso comedies out there now give this one a try. You wont regret it.

First time I watched this drama I was in a rather depressed mood but the first four episodes had me rolling in laughter. It was a great family drama filled with characters that were funny and quirky and yet still real and grounded. Their reactions made you laugh as well as cheer them on in their journeys. The comedy was balanced by heart warming moments that made you really like these characters. It is the kind of drama you watch when you want to relax and want something to pick you up. For fans of Ji Chang Wook, he has a smaller role as a younger brother but it was sweet to see the character's journey as he matures and becomes an adult. This was one of his early dramas where he first got noticed and started to get CFs.

If only it didn't have the 2nd son "Dae Pung"

My biggest problem with this drama was Dae Pung. I've never seen a more obnoxious, childish, repulsive and sleazy character like him. I can't stress enough how annoyed I was watching the drama because of him. He's the type of the character that's always loud no matter what, I wish I could turn down the volume just for his character, I actually had to watch the drama at slightly lower volume than usual because of him. He gave me physical pain. He didn't deserve to have a love interest. I hated him and his story.

Anyway, the other stories were fine. Mi Pung's story get brought up for a scene every few episodes, you'll always keep forgetting about him. Sun Pung's story had some attention at the beginning then became similar to Mi Pung's case. Jin Poong's story was the only one that was constantly present and had some development. The drama was lacking to create a good family dynamic, the individual stories were the main focus and the family felt like it was their to react not to interact. I gotta say, the old geezers in the drama were likeable.

On another note, watching kids bully each other because one's mother is dead was more of a comedy rather than being sad. At this point, this trope should end because it's cringe.

I know that these longer family dramas are intentionally over acted and exaggerated but this is just horrible. The main character Daepung is so beyond obnoxious that I want to strangle his character, Bokshil is just a pathetic doormat that acts like a whimpering puppy, the Mother wants to marry off her three older sons but doesn't like any of the women that they've brought previously, then she doesn't like the ones that they want to marry now. She's honestly just overbearing, and yes I know kdrama mothers tend to be. She also doesn't want Daepung to marry Bokshil, despite the fact that she has been taking advantage of her helping around the house and acting like a daughter-in-law for 3 years previously. The father is useless, the grandfather is irritating.

Now at episodes 29-31 Bokshil has a mysterious past and has been abducted by what is most likely her father so that she can go back to being a doctor in what is probably a huge hospital that she's the chaebol of or some crap. I started watching this for Ji Chang Wook and he's barely in it and honestly the rest of the characters are just annoying, only the oldest brother is normal. The middle brother and his actress wife are mildly annoying when they're on screen then you completely forget they exist when they're not on screen. We're supposed to root for Daepung and Bokshil but honestly they're a horrible couple, he's horrible to her all the time and they try to play it off as being cutesy or funny but his character is actually very mean to her and she just takes it then leaves then comes back; it's not enjoyable to watch them together. Also I know this is a slightly older drama but the mothers line "A man shouldn't put rice in a bowl."... c'mon seriously. No wonder the men couldn't get married apparently they can't even scoop out their own rice.
