"G-Love" centers around a has-been professioanl baseball player (Jung Jae-Young), a female school teacher (played by Yu-seon), and a group of deaf high school baseball players. Friendship & love are explored in the film, set within a countryside backdrop.

Fading star baseball player Sang-Nam (Jung Jae-Young) finds his name more in the media these days for his boorish behavior. The latest of which involves Sang-Nam involved in a drunken brawl and swinginga baseball bat. His agent Charles (Jo Jin-Ung) then advises Sang-Nam to take a job coaching a team of hearing-impaired players at a rural school to help rebuild his image.

Sang-Nam arrives at the school with the boys welcoming him with open arms, but Sang-Nam is less than enthusiastic about his new gig. The boys have never won a game, there's only 10 players (with 1 available pitcher) and Sang-Nam is clueless on how to coach a team who can't hear. There's also Ms. Na (Yoo-Sun) who works as the music teacher and baseball manager. She's ultra protective of the boys and chastises Sang-Nam for his condescending attitude. Sang-Nam already wondering when he can go back to the pro league is counting his days until he can go back to the LG Twins. Then something happens.

Sang-Nam and the kids start to form a genuine bond. Soon enough, Sang-Nam finds himself energized by the kids purity and starts to put out sincere effort in preparing the team for the nationals.

Have you ever watched a movie that gave you goosebumps and at the same time made you cry? If you had, then watch this movie and relive the feeling and if you haven't, then you have a lot of reasons to try this one! An inspiring movie! Definitely worth watching!

The story was great... A heartwarming one... I would not elaborate too much, I don't want to spoil anything. Again, a very inspiring one! You'd realized a lot of things. Things and thoughts worth keeping. This is based on a real life story... that's why it amazed me much...

The cast were outstanding... They have done a great job in performing their roles. Music was good and definitely a movie worth a rewatch. Overall, this is one of the movies that has inspire me a lot. I've learned and realized many things...

This is worth it! Your 2 hours and 24 minutes would not be put into waste! (^-^)

This has to be one of the greatest sports movies I've seen come out of S.Korea.

Story is pretty much Jae Young's character is sent to a rural area to help coach a baseball team to help try and clean up his image. The team he ends up coaching is hearing impaired. He's stubborn at first then becomes a passionate coach to help these boys become a better team. It's a great movie about not making excuses just because you are slightly different and giving your all to prove others wrong.

The cast was outstanding. The mains, the adults, all the kids. They were all casted perfectly! All the acts who played the baseball players were so good. Their skills made everything so believable. Until I realized who some of the actors were (HyunWoo), i honestly thought some might actually be hearing impaired. But I loved everyone in this movie.

Definitely a movie to watch/rewatch. Especially if you're in the mood to cry (that sounds odd..) Even if sport movies aren't your thing, give this movie a shot. You won't regret it. But make sure you have tissues near by just in case.
