Young Nam and Jin Ho are best friends who have a friendly rivalry going on over Bo Ra. Jin Ho is drafted in the combat police unit. Young Nam takes over Jin Ho's duties for one day so Jin Ho can attend the ritual of 100th day mourning for his deceased mother. But riot breaks out that day and Young Nam loses his sight while on duty for Jin Ho. Young Nam begs Jin Ho not to tell Bo Ra what happened and disappears.
