I am a man sentenced to life for committing murder. But miraculously, I have managed to receive one special gift. Like a gift from God, the government has granted me leave for one day. One day for a man sentenced to a life behind bars. One day to see my son for the first time in 15 years. The son I love more than anything in the world. All day I think only of things to say to my little boy. What can I do with my son in a single day? I've missed him for so long, but no matter how hard I try, I can't remember his face. Every minute seems like eternity until the day I see my son.

Heart wrenching movie of a father and a son one day reunion after 15 years separation. Since its a sad drama, i thought that it was gonna be slow and dragging. Apparently it wasn't. I love this movie. Especially the acting cast.

Casting: wow!! Cha Seung Won really moved my heart in this movie. I was welling up all my tears till i can't no more. Cha Seung Won really nail it. No wonder he won in 2007 Chunsa Film Art Awards: as BEST ACTOR for this movie.

It's a recommended movie for those who appreciate movie that portray life and society.

I love movies like this, that are full of depth and feeling! This was and is a beautiful movie! I wasn't planning on watching it at first but b/c I kept wanting to see Cha Seung Won in more things I decided to include this in my watch list and I'm glad I did b/c if I had skipped it, I would have overlooked a true gem!

This movie really pulled on my heart. I felt for our lead so much, when he cried I cried, his pain, struggle and desire were so strongly portrayed by this man - it was so realistic and heart-renching <3 I enjoyed their journey. and I can say once again that I was taken by surprise toward the end! And I liked how they ended it too. This movie had me in tears and made me laugh ^^ What these characters felt, said and thought really moves your emotions. *especially their inner thoughts*

I don't remember any particular music except for the ending song (but you'd have to sit through the credits to hear that one & I only mentioned it b/c the singer sounded familiar) :P

I would highly recommend this one! and I will definitely be re-watching it at some point! I might even pull my mom aside and have her watch it with me as we have very similar tastes in movies. ^^

I know a few people mentioned that they thought it was slow at first - I didn't really notice that - maybe b/c I'm used to these kinds of movies (as I have watched lots of old American movies and they all flow similarly). lol
