America is my body's homeland, but Korea is my Soul's homeland.Music is LIFE.
Hello, I am from Minnesota USA born in the year of the Dragon (although my personality is nothing like is described in the dragon description - except for the fact that I prefer to be alone lol) I am 29yrs old, my real name is Renee. I am an introvert - ISFP-T. I wish one of the actors I love would just come and find me and whisk me away - that way I wouldn't have to meet anyone lol (I do not like to meet strangers). I like to hide away in my cave (room) 95% of the time with no social interaction. And I'm only 100% comfortable around my immediate family.Solitude is my friend. Out of the different types of introverts, I would be amongst the "anxious" introverts.
If your interested in being friends, just keep one thing in mind, I enjoy pictures from dramas like most people but I hate spoiler pictures - especially in thrillers or dramas where there are unknown facts or things about it that were kept hidden from the viewers until later episodes - I don't appreciate seeing those types of photos on my feed. If you are someone who posts spoiler type pictures then please don't "friend" me. Once I get fed up with seeing those kinds of posts I will end up removing you from my friend list myself. Please be appreciative of other chingu's on this site. No matter how much you want to share those kinds of photos - they are just ones that shouldn't be shared - instead post your thoughts on said scenes in "spoiler tag" under your episode watch. That way only those who have seen that part of the show will see it. Thanks!
I first got introduced to Asian dramas by a classmate I met during a short college term - I was always attracted to Asian men in general but I never knew there was a whole world of wonderful dramas to watch until she told me about them. < Thank You!!!
First drama I ever watchedwas a Japanese drama called Hana Yori Dango (I have watched season 1-2 and the final). then my friend led me to the Taiwanese drama Mars - and from then on I had my first Asian crush Vic Zhou <3
First Korean drama I watched was My Girl, then Full House, and then Tree of Heaven and A Love to Kill. - which started my Kdrama addiction.
I used to say I didn't like Movies, but I recently got into them in 2016 - So I Enjoy Asian movies now *at least the ones I've watched* I watch most any genre except for 'Mature' and I try to avoid the movies that are more "documentary" type style b/c I don't like them.

I for some reason really like Seo In Guk's forearms ^_^ -weird I know, but I can't help it- Happened when I watched him in 'I Remember You' drama - I kept looking at his forearms XD
I like just about any genre (except for: horror, sitcom's, mature content, affairs, too much slice of life stuff, vampires, zombies & over the top gross me out comedy) - I like: Historical, Crime, Detective, Romance, Comedy, Melodrama, Makjang, Family, Business, Food, Period, Tragic, Action, Music, Martial Arts, Investigation, Thriller, Law, Suspense, Drama & Fantasy (as long as it's not too fake). Eye appeal is my first instinct on picking a drama though - the actors have too look good ;) or If the cover photo looks good I may watch it or if the title sounds intriguing - if it has none of these I am unlikely to watch it...I also go by reviews from time to time - if there are a lot of negative review or comments I will tend to pass the drama by. (I don't like wasting my time on something that isn't worth it). Sometimes I'll watch a drama simply b/c a certain actor/actress is in it - if I don't really like it I'll skip watch it and if I do like it I might watch the whole thing (lots of the time I skip the older adults scenes as they can get to be repetitive and boring (not to mention the wives hysterics).

How I rate dramas:
- Also my personal enjoyment has a lot to do with my final ratings - I rarely go by just cinematography or otherwise - the characters have to win me over first; and the drama needs to end in a way that satisfies me or my final rating will drop from what I initially had in mind. As in a couple I wanted together fails to get together in the end for some reason (most hated is b/c of another couple that never deserved to get together and ended up ruining my couples chance at happiness a.k.a 'Give Love Away' & 'Endless Love' - my rating for those 2 dramas in particular dropped way down b/c of those endings.) -
10.0: Amazing! Masterpiece!
3.5-3.0: Gosh, chincha? (lol, love that remark ;))
2.5-20: Skip It!
1.5-1.0: Away from the keyboard puking :>
^I got this rating system from another chingu - I agreed with it so much I asked if I could use it myself ;)
I used to use my On-hold list for dramas I was watching but then got behind on and lost interest but still planned on continuing them at some point - but now I use it for dramas I plan to watch soon after the ones I am currently watching ;)
Park Hae Jin (nose, scars, voice, eyes, hands) I REALLY like PHJ <3 He's SO SMEXY <3
Anyone who likes Korean music - classics and new then I highly recommend watching Immortal Songs2 where the singers "remake" legends songs and sing LIVE onstage - and the audience decides who wins <3
