A drama you must go into emotionally prepared b/c it will tear at you. Be prepared for tears T_T I recommend for most people but not anyone who has experienced Cancer by any family member - This drama shows the progress throughout the drama and it gets harder to watch it as it progresses.

Story: About a woman who's husband is cheating on her and she finds out she has an incurable disease. (The two stories overlap and then separate in the middle - the beginning is more about the affairs and the latter half is more about the disease). Also we have the main leads sister (who is also a main lead) who happens to be in an illicit affair herself with her first love who left her for money & power - her story will develop and shift focus halfway through as well ^_^

Cast: Choi Jin Shil as Sun Yi a woman who saves money and lives as thriftily as possible who married a man 3yrs younger and has 2 children and after 10yrs of marriage finds out about her husbands affair and the fact that she has cancer. Her acting was great - you will cry for her and with her. She had a hard life and wasn't appreciated by her in-laws until too late.
Sun Hyun Joo as Sung Moon I really despised his character early on - he was a real jerk. But I began to appreciate him in the end.
Lee Tae Ran as Young Yi (She's the reason I decided to watch the drama) was definitely my favorite character, I really enjoyed her character, her hurts, pain, her looking on her own relationship after seeing her sister and her love in the latter half of the drama. (Plus she had great fashion sense!) She is a really loving sister to her older sister, she truly appreciates and loves her. She may have been a bit misguided early on but by watching her sister turmoil she changes.
Nam Goong Min as Je Pak Sa was a wonderful addition to the cast in the latter half (I think he was introduced in episode 11) - His presence made the depressing atmosphere of the drama not so depressing lol - he was a light shining in the darkness you could say ^_^ His appearance for me was totally unexpected (as I didn't know he was in this drama) but I welcomed him with open arms! I loved his pursuit of Young Yi ^_^

Music: Perfect for the drama - I especially loved the OST by 'The One': "Thorn", and "Letter" by Jung Hyun Lee

It has re-watch value for sure but it would definitely be hard to re-watch b/c it's so painful. But there are a lot of lessons to be learned in it.

Drama Quote: "I said: Married couples must have been sworn enemies in their past life, that they meet again so they can take revenge on each other. I think I was wrong. I think they meet again, so that they can forgive and love each other."

Big sadge....

What's up with the heavy inclusion of infidelity? All the characters surrounding FL are cheating: her mother, her husband, her dead father-in-law, the husband's mistress, the husband's brother-in-law, her sister, the lover and that one friend. For the main "sad" theme they overdone the sadness by incorporating an endless sequence of miserable events that at one point all the sadness became too forced. I would rather prefer a better build up and writing with the only misery/sadness is the terminal illness plot. Choi Jin Shil did most of the heavy lifting in the drama.

The order of which the husband knew about the cancer and him being with his mistress was misaligned it should have been the other way around. The sister love life should have started earlier to give more focus/screen-time for her dying sister, the late intrusion of Dr Ji was unfortunate. One thing really bothered me is the amount of negligence from FL and everyone around her, if you feel sick with physical symptoms or see someone sick repeatedly over extended period of time then it's not normal you moron!!!! Anyway, it's sad but leaves a lot to be desired.

RIP Choi Jin Shil.
