As the woman he has a crush on gets married, Byung-tae is heartbroken and tries to kill himself but fails. He is sent to a mental institution. There, Byung-tae meets Min-wu who is the head of the gang. By chance, Byung-tae saves a pickpocket girl named Young-hi from the den of evil. When he finds out that she has amnesia, they go on a trip to try to retrieve her memory. Young-hi searches for her mother at her hometown but remembers that her mother is dead and falls into despair.
