1: fBoth drama are written by the same screenwriter '
Apart from the fact that one is build around politicians and their secrets, and the other about paparazzis and the things they discover, both dramas are extremely similar. From the character similarity of our male leads are nearly identical, both have a trauma from their past and both are at the bottom. Both meet women with a near identical character, and both women play an equal important part. although in Big Issue it is slightly more.
Definitely give the other a try if you like one of them.

Both: Female lead villain, male lead trying to uncover a conspiracy behind his lover death. Journalist, action and business related.

Honestly the plots have nearly nothing in common, maybe the cuteness of the lovers being together. On the other hand, the camerawork, the colors and somehow the similar classical music in the background made the vibes of THE GREAT SEDUCER remind me of THE K2.

So the only reason I am recommending K2 for The Revenge is because of the bodyguard aspect and the actions. The OST even reminds me of K2, but the Revenge is a whole lot darker than the K2.

Both Kdramas are about agents, and the vibes are very similar. Terius Behind Me is about a single mom who somehow gets involved in top secret missions. The K2 similarly involves secret missions. Although The K2 is more about a wealthy girl and a bodyguard, like Terius Behind Me, it involves a love story around the main female character and the bodyguard which is why if you liked Terius Behind Me, I strongly recommend watching The K2.

I personally watched The K2 first and had been trying to find a drama similar to The K2, but after years and years, I finally found Terius Behind Me and definitely don't regret watching it.

Both are about kidnapping of a weak person. Both involved security agent or agency. Protective action thriller. Fun watch

The strong female lead.

Came for Chang ji-wook stay for Song yoon-ah.
Yoona from girls generation is also in this drama. It's slow at first but it really picks up and you end up loving the Antagonist more.

Promise you will not be disappointed. A perfect depiction of a female villain

The male lead is from government agent to protect the female lead. Although Thai one the female lead can fight, the Korean one female lead is weak and fragile

Although the setting is in no way similar because K2 is all about action and fighting scenes, the part about the male lead taking care of the female lead is the same. In Liar Game, the male lead takes care of the too-kind and naive girl through the entire drama. And even though there is not romance, there are little hints about a relationship between the MCs.

they both play as a bodyguard and the heroine fall in love with her bodyguard.

i found this dramas very similar although graceful family was quite better. they are both about very rich families, conspiracies, being untouchable, cult like groups, daughter in the family exiled or treated unfairly, daughter meeting a helper/guy that becomes a support system. AND most of all the villans, both dramas have the kind of villan you hate to love or love to hate. they were very good at being evil but somehow they got my sympathy. in both dramas the villlan had an unexplainable fondness with the male lead. graceful family is better because the leads have better chemistry and there was no forced/cringe romance like in the k2.

If you are looking for a drama with more mature characters, where no one is 100% good or 100% evil, both dramas share that.

You'll find very appealing characters and a storyline that has romance, drama, revenge, politics and strong female characters (Go Hye Ran in Misty and Choi Yoo Jin in K2).

In both dramas you have a mysterious murder that impacts all the story.

In both the ML get the job to protect the FL. The first as soldiere the other is ex-soldiere.
In both dramas, FL and ML get to know each other better and fall in love. But there are a few obstacles in there way to happiness.

If you like bodyguard dramas watch both.

They both deal with an MC who was previously involved with the military and is now trying to live a normal life as they deal with a traumatizing death in their past. They are then dragged back into fighting through meeting new people. Both shows also have awesome fight scene. But The fiery priest does have more humor then k2. Both are good shows.
