Advance Bravely

I'm recommending this because they have the same author. I'm reading the novels and I think everyone should as well. It took me so long to finish Addicted's novel because I would always need time to recover after every other chapter that I read. Currently, I am reading Counterattack, and it had the same effect on me. I've already secured a copy for Advance Bravely, and I don't know when will I be able to read it.

I had similar feelings, somewhat incompatible from the first sight boys (men), who fell at each other.

It was intriguing to follow chinese bl evolution, while like love was quite explicit, it was lacking chemistry, advance bravely only implied relationship, though chemistry was all over the board.

Both Chinese, the same year, for some reason I was thinking about AB while watching MGB.
In both series MLs are wearing extravagant clothes (I would buy them if saw).
In AB 2 MLs were obviously a couple with the sister just the third wheel, in MGB - it is actual triangle without stable couple.

Action adventure, great fight scenes, with bromance. Guardian is a must watch if you liked Advance Bravely.

Both are adaptations of Chai Jidan, with similar themes and dynamics. But 'Revenged Love' is a step up from 'Advance Bravely' because it isn't censored the way 'Advance Bravely' was and with a visibly higher budget.

So if you were upset 'Advance Bravely' was made into a bromance due to censorship, you will definitely enjoy the more polished and mature explicitly romantic 'Revenged Love'.

The storyline is different though has a similar feeling. Both contain the elements of a bodyguard (though Advance Bravely does not have the friend since childhood part), and a rich main lead.

They are similar because both are chinese censored adaptation of same-sex original work and in both Simon Gong plays main role.

With The Untamed you have a Chinese drama that manages to turn subtextual bromance into an art form.

History3: Trap and Advance Bravely have a very similar vibe. Trap is pretty much the gay version of Advance Bravely.

The stories are very different, but both have that addictive central relationship that keeps you invested in every interaction. If you love watching two characters grow increasingly attached to each other while the chemistry keeps pulling you back in, Double Helix is definitely worth checking out.
