Positives:

- The action sequences are exciting and delightful to watch.
- Some thrills in the beginning are induced quite well, while some simply won't work if you've seen the trailer.
- The film's running time is decent; it's not stretched too long.
- Gang Dong-won delivers a decent act, and so do others.
- Some emotional scenes work in the second half.
- Technically, the film is a pure gem. The visual effects and cinematography have been handled very adequately.

Negatives:

- The film loses momentum after a big action sequence and this is exactly where some inconsistency shows up.
- The direction is not totally up to the mark: while the first half is excellently sketched, the second one looks slightly underdeveloped. Fortunately, the film picks up momentum at a high point, thanks to the action once again.
- The character development of Gang Dong-won's character is not good in the second half. Some changes seem way too abrupt and may not go down well with all.
- The inducement of some dramatic subplots at peak moments slows down the pace of the movie.

Repeat value: Only for the action sequences .

I had too many expectations because of the film being visually catchy and action packed. But GOLDEN SLUMBER is nevertheless an engaging action thriller which keeps you engaged for the most part. It stays true to its genre and that's good enough.

I only watch this for KIM YOO JUNG, and that's the best part of the movie

This is the first Korean movie that made me cry, when Kim Yoo Jung appeared for the second time, that moment is so BEAUTIFUL. If she's not in the movie, I barely want to watch at all. the ENDING IS PERFECT.

Anyway, this movie is a waste of talented actors. Slow pace plot at the beginning, gets more interesting during the food delivery scene.

Kang Dong Won as a nice guy was boring at the beginning. He played better villain in this movie.

DaeMyung, JaeMyung, HyoJoo did a great job, but they can't save this movie at all.

Blame the plot, blame the script. Korean movies need to learn from TV Dramas, don't be a drag. Get rid of the fillers. The flashback scenes are totally not hitting it. Should have gone full action on this one.

Don't tell me you can watch this without yawning. When your movie standard is Taxi Driver and Parasite, this just ain't it.

I cried because of this. I'm amazed on how this movie tackled the pros and cons of easily trusting people and believing your friends. I love how it protrays the reality, on how some of our friends will react differently if ever that we may put into this kind of situation. I can relate well with Gun-woo as we both feel the responsibility to make and get together our team/group of friends. As a person who only hope to hang out again with his/her friends and reminsice with them, I understand why he chose to believe them as they live in a 'so busy life' and yeah, they might just want to hang out with me after a long time. Afterall, there's nothing wrong about your old friend suddenly contacting you. I'm sad and I feel bad that the ending was just like that. I felt that there should be something to look forward and to be tell. I just wish that they gave us a more detailed ending but overall, I'm satisfied with this movie.
