Sang Mi gets chosen by Spiritual Father to become the Spiritual Mother. She tries to kill herself in front of everyone, but Spiritual Father threatens her by saying he will hurt her mother. I guess this is the turning point of the story. Both Sang Hwan and Sang Mi now decide to face the situation head on. This episode cemented my theory that Sang Mi is holding on the tiniest speck of hope for her mother's sake. The spiritual father also became aggressive in possessing Sang Mi. We also see that small backstory of Apostle Kang and her (I suppose) daughter.
