Summer Time Machine Blues

They both have time travel and comedy and they're both great!

Both deal with romance, time travel and a great deal of comedy.

As the plot unravels, all of the small pieces fall into place. Completely unrelated and unexpected things turn out to be connected. Both of these are really funny, campy, and smart. The stories wrap up with no loose ends and have "feel good" endings.

Call me crazy, but I likened both shows on the similar premises they are based upon, which are seemingly super simple. Both movies also used a SINGLE location setting (STMB in the sharehouse, Alps Stand at the stand of the stadium), which makes both unique on their own rights.

Both movies take place in Japan during the Great Japanese bubble economy boom during 80s.................................................................
