Towako still can't forget Kurosaki, even though they broke up 8 years ago. She now lives with a man named Jinji. Jinji is 15 years older than her. Towako hates Jinji who is poor and vulgar, but she lives with him because of his wage. One day, she meets Mizushima who has a wife and kid. He reminds her of Kurosaki. Soon, she has an affair with Mizushima. A detective visits Towako and tells her that Kurosaki is missing. ~~ Based on the novel "Kanojo ga Sono Mei wo Shiranai Toritachi" by Mahokaru Numata. For lovers of beautiful ugly stories ... When these people meet, it's unpleasant, sometimes exhausting. But also fascinating: Birds Without Names shows interpersonal chasms, without giving you a little hope at some point. This is especially worth it for the strong interpreter. Above all, Yû Aoi is a woman between manipulation and obsession. He who does violence only to inflict himself on the neighbor. He loves her, she loves another person, who in turn loves only himself: "Birds Without Names" shows a carousel of love of a different kind. A very ugly guy. Simpatico characters are then sown in the film. Very disgusting. This is strong as a drama about dysfunctional relationships, also because of the actors. However, the characteristics of the crime convince less, as the story does not give much in general.

This movie is full of surprises. I can't say much, but I spend the second half of it watching with my mouth open. It's one of those movies that you really need to pay attention to understand what's going on.

The performance of all the actors was outstanding, I seriously wanted to punch the main couple a thousand times.

Even though it starts by being very boring, and opens many wholes( most of them remain open even after you finish watching), it takes a great turn that makes it interesting and engages the viewer.

I really recommend this movie, not for when you need to cheer up, but for when you want something interesting and new to watch.
