Three Days of Their Reign (1973)

In November 1884, at the end of Yi dynasty, there are severe conflicts among the conservatives who depend upon China, then Queen Min's family and the reformers who incline to Japan to take royal power each other. Kim Ok Kyun, one of the Reformers, remonstrates to the king to remove Chinese influence and announce Independence and the King also willingly accepts his advice. Therefore, Kim Ok Kyun and his fellows take a chance to seize political hegemony on the day of the anniversary of the founding of postal service department. But a secret agent of the conservatives informs this to China in confidence. Chinese general Won Se Gae rushes into Korea with his troops and Kim Ok Kyun's dream for Independence is vanished only in three days. Edit Translation
