A new doctor in an otherwise lonely town/village that has no doctor, or one doctor and they need assistance. Friendship, great team work, dramatic and epic rescues!

humane doctors - wonderful supporting chara(s) - sad but heartwarming case of medic - and most important: there is an onscreen aura of honesty and realness

Both about the rebuilding of a hospital/clinic alone, with community members, and within an established area that is used to how things already work and are nervous about change/ownership, as well as personal growth for the main characters and hard learning

A doctor in an out of the way, dangerous, isolated area with emergency care and a great story throughout! (The entire Dr. Koto Shinryojo series is fantastic!)

Both Dramas are set on an island. They have a similar feel as well. If you enjoyed one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

Location is different, however, each story has a high focus on the people around them and each society as a whole. As well as the utmost, highest respect for doctors and the gift of life.
