This was the first TW drama I watched from beginning to end. I went in not knowing what to expect; in some ways it was better, in some ways it was worse that I had hoped.

First, the negative: Mike He's line delivery only had two settings - loud and louder. It seemed he practically yelled his way through each scene. I kept wanting to tell him to lower his voice, I could hear him just fine!

But the biggest blot on this otherwise good drama was the ending. I literally scoured the internet trying to find more information to make my understanding of the ending more conclusive. No luck. Seemed like everyone else thought the ending sucked just as much as I did.

Now for the positive: Holy crap! Was that a real kiss? Double holy crap! I can't believe they actually went THERE! Finally! An Asian drama not afraid to touch the "S" word! If TW dramas are like this, I'm gonna watch more!

Seriously, the OTP had really good chemistry and I loved the scenes of them together. I've since discovered that Mike He has this way of looking at his co-lead that makes you think he both worships the ground she walks on and wants to eat her alive at the same time. It's quite a potent mix :)

My overall and rewatch ratings for this drama would've been higher if the ending had been handled differently. Since watching this drama about a year ago, I've watched quite a few more TW dramas and just yesterday finished my second Mike He drama, Devil Beside You. I'm more used to the way TW dramas characterize the female leads, and I'm adjusting to the over-acting. So I went back and skimmed through a few scenes and discovered that my initial perception of Love Keeps Going has remained the same. It's a good story with good actors and great chemistry, and I don't even dislike the final plot twist; but for the ending and Mike's shouting, this would be one of my favorite TW dramas.

In many ways this is pretty standard romance drama fare, but the leads have chemistry and the story didn't stagnate but kept moving. I actually like that the female lead, while being a pleaser/fixer type person wasn't really a pushover and was quite smart. I also like that there really wasn't an instalove situation with the leads either. I downgraded this show because the side stories didn't do too much for me, it took a weird turn around episode 9 to 10 and though I thought the ending was quite clear, it left some people confused. Never a good sign when your audience doesn't get it, but again I think it is quite understandable and didn't have issues with it.

It's on the shorter side for T-Dramas (13 episodes) so for the nice chemistry I would give it a go with some judicious use of the fast forward button.

This drama sucked me in and before I knew it I was watching episode after episode. I could understand why Zha Mei Le felt the way she did, always wanting to do her best so no one abandoned her while Han Yi Lei had a similar issue but handled it differently. The story in the beginning I was so happy with, then they threw in a twist and I was like Ok so he cheated then they threw in more twist and then you kinda started to say "COME ON ALREADY". But then I still went with it because after all it's supposed to be dramatic. The mother of Han Yi Lei is crazy and how quickly she turns. O, I won't spoil anything else after all those twist and turns but then i get to the end and I'm like WTH, where is the missing episode because it feels like it was rushed and needed another episode. The final few minutes sucks rotten eggs. It could have been so much better. I was so committed and I felt like the drama didn't commit to the story. The end doesn't have to be cookie cutter but it should at least end well. It's like the actor was unavailable to film the last scene and so it ended and that was it. I feel a little cheated. I loved the chemistry between Han Yi Lei & Zha Mei Le and hoped their story would have ended more neatly, it's just that something was missing and too rushed. I only got 90%. Still I'm not sad that I watched it but I would have given a better rating if the ending was a bit better even after going thru all those crazy twist and turns with the story.

My reason of watching this drama is because of Cyndi Wang. When i saw the comments of this show, i thought the ending will be awful because
the people that comments says that the ending is terrible but for me its not really that bad. My hobby is watching dramas so i already got used of watching a drama that has a sad ending such as;'Goodbye Dear Wife' and 'Jang Ok Jung, Live in Love'and etc. OK, enough with the chit chat...
This drama is about a girl who became smart, hard working, helpful, kind and many attitude that can make people envious her. When Mie Lei(Cyndi Wang) is a little girl, all she do is watch animes and one night she accidentally heard her parents fighting over her on who is going to take her because her parents are planning to divorce and her father doesn't want to take her with him because she's lazy and dumb. When she went back to bed, she had a nightmare that when she woke up, her parents are not there anymore and a bald girl wants to take her in a temple where abandon children lives..
And after that dream, she started to work hard and she became the smartest kid in their school and she also receives a lot of certificate until she grows up and found her first love. Han Yi Feng, her first boyfriend( first love) is an art teacher. They get along well. But the true story began when Yi Feng's brother Yang Lie (Mike He)came. ..At last Yi Feng betrayed Mie Lei so they broke up and the story of Yang Lie and Mie Lei started. They started to fall in love with each other when Yang Lie helped Mie Le to get revenge from her ex-boyfriend Yi Feng. .
..Yang Lie and Mie Lei fall in love with each other but one night Yang Lie got in a car accident which causes his brain damage. ..if you want to know what happened to Yang Lie and Mie Lei after the accident, you better watch it..

This was a really good series. I was very skeptical about watching it because of the rating but I must say that I think this is one of the best Taiwanese movies that I’ve actually watch. There was no supremely high-class divas, there were no extremely naïve females. The story was good. The build up was good. There were tons of sweet moments. There were no cliche repeats. The chemistry was good. Aside from the one scheming person, there almost no plotting people. Not to cheesy. Just right. This is definitely one of the more upbeat, romantic comedies. There is some drama in it but it is an appropriate amount and it’s not over the top. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice and sweet romance to watch. The only thing that I do not like about this series is the ending. Although it was not a tragic or bad ending it just seemed rushed. To elaborate on that rush, what I mean is that there were things that were discovered and a major event that happened and they somehow wrapped it up in less than five minutes. New insight: there is a way to lower the value of an ending evening if it’s a good ending. In hindsight it was good and it gives a conclusive ending.
