The title says it all...^__^

This is one of those cases where the title says it all, really! ^_^;
Because that's exactly what this dorama is: a "monologue between two people" ("futari"). The concept is simple yet interesting: instead of showing a dialogue between the two leads, they went with a double "interior monologue" that compelled the actresses to act silently (both Fukuhara Haruka and Yanagi Miki passed that "test" with flying colors, BTW!), then using the "voice over" to fully portray their feelings and thoughts! And, believe me, so much is going on in those pretty lil' heads of theirs! ^___^
The experiment was fully successfull, as far as I'm concerned: several scenes ended up being plainly hilarious (just take a look at the first 3 or 4 minutes, you'll get an idea!), the actresses, as already mentioned, did just great, the music is nice (particularly the ED song)...this might not be a full-fledged masterpiece, but it's still pretty original and very entertaining!

A monologue of two people. What a fitting title for this.

Overall
If you want an easy watch with great comedy and amazing acting, give this a try.

Story
I enjoyed the story. Definitely not a deep story by any meaning but I really liked the set up for the show. How they used to be friends and it took Hinata so long to realize she knew Mikage, meanwhile Mikage was slowly dying in the inside to be recognized by Hinata. Great start. Then the main formate the show took, just letting us listen to both character's monologues and how they read each situation completely different. Amazing. And the comedy was great. Literally laughed out loud many times.

Acting/Cast
I had seen both actresses from Super sentai before the show came out and was the reason I found out about this. Then I took so long to find subs for this and by now I have seen both lead actress in many shows. Fukuhara Haruka is always great for shy characters and this earlier work is no exception. Yanagi Miki is lovely in dynamic roles and this was a great fit for her. She really was amazing from her very nonchalant to her overhyped part, they were acted perfectly.

Rewatch Value
Honestly, I thought this was hilarious. I will probably watch this again sooner than almost anything due to it being a very short and easy watch that really entertains.

Charming, stylised, gay - this show is basically perfect

Oh but I'm so happy I stumbled onto this little gem of a series!
The writing, acting, cinematography, and music are all pitch perfect and make the viewing experience a pure, utter joy.
The simple concept of having to people both entirely pre-occupied with each other while simultaneously completely incapable of talking to one another (a fantastic story-telling device that I already appreciate on its own) is utilised to its full potential and infused with so much clever humour I found myself laughing out loud at least once per episode
I love the approach of having both characters start out with completely different viewpoints of their situation - Mikage is thriving in her little teen-romance movie world while Hinata is essentially living a psychological horror thriller - and yet having them both equally fail at being in any way heterosexual about the whole thing.
Then, as the story progresses and the two get onto more even footing with one another, their relationship slowly begins to evolve into a deeply charming romance which is just as much of a joy to watch as the first couple of episodes, if not more so.
Sure, we only get to see the very beginnings of that changing relationship, but the story ends on a very satisfying note and is, in my opinion, great to watch as a delightful little mini romcom.
The sapphics win big time with this one, go watch it right now.
