An amazing Variety Show
This show is amazing, it's one of my favorite variety shows of all time, same with its sequels. I made a list of all of my favorites and it easily makes the top 10. So, first of all, I decided to watch this show because of Running Man's Lee Kwang-Soo and Secretary Kim Park Min-Young, but through watching the show, I've come to love all the cast members and their interactions with each other. Especially Kim Se-Jong, she is amazing, and I've watched a lot of her dramas and variety shows since. Anyways, this a comedy detective show with the main plotline established in the first episode that brings the world into focus, and as they solve cases in each episode, it slowly reveals itself, so if you like comedy detective shows, then please watch this show, you won't regret it :DWas this review helpful to you?
A Fun and Unique Blend of Variety and Drama
If there was a way to perfectly blend a compelling K-drama plot with variety show stars and unscripted fun, it would look something similar to this.Busted! managed to combine the natural wit and chemistry of the cast with a very interesting and compelling plot. While there are a couple of plot holes and the scenes are sometimes ridiculous (which makes them kind of cringy but that can also be their charm).
The cast is also wonderful, showing off their chemistry, banter, and bickering while they solve cases.
The whole show is just a boatload of fun and as long as you don't nitpick too much, the story is also solid and interesting. Busted promised a unique and interesting premise and it managed to deliver!

So much fun!
I added it to my watchlist plainly because my favourite actress Park Min Young was in it but the more I looked into this show, the more it drew me in because I love escape rooms, detective role-play and solving mysteries. Don't let the episode lenghth (most of them are 1 hour and 20+ minutes long) scare you because the episode just flows by as you watch the detectives trying to solve the cases.Some people pointed out that some of the scripted interactions seemed too forced to them or cringey, but that wasn't the case for me aside from a few minutes in the first two episodes. Otherwise all the episodes have a nice flow and even the scripted parts are written believeably.
I came to love all the detectives, each of them is unique and smart but I loved the most when they were put in teams and suddenly the guys were sharing one braincell together and solved one of the keys completely wrong way but still got the correct answer! I also loved the chemistry among the members, they were joking with (and about) each other so naturally.
I can't remeber the last time when I laughed so hard watching a show like this. It's funny yet the mysteries are complex. Amazing watch! 9.5/10 from me!

What is it actually
What is the concept? Too scripted for a variety show, but the talk and characterizations are real? To me, it is rather confusing and uncomfortable to watch some parts. However, as I just started watching this show, this first impression might backfire on me as I watch more episodes later. I am aware that this show makes it to season 3 which means many people must have loved this show so much.I love the games though. With a big budget given by Netflix, the production team makes great games. The escape room one was good. However, again, it feels too scripted. So, I could not enjoy it as much.

A great detective variety show and drama in one
This is seriously a great show if you love variety shows, detective-like missions and for a bonus it follows a main plot line like a drama as well. From what I know this is semi-scripted because as I've mentioned there is a main plot line going on throughout the series. But most of the lines are spontaneous as well making the connections among the casts real and natural. You can think with the cast on the challenges and also laugh with their unintentional gags. Aside from the missions/challenges they were solving the main story plot twists will also blow your mind. It's like a mystery within a mystery so this is really something that is a full package.The casts were chosen effectively because each character gives off different flavors which complements on each other so the comedic side of this show is not forced at all. I really liked that there is a contrast going on among the casts where some are smart solving the problems and those who were lagging behind but was able to surprise us with an unexpected skill they were good at.
The next season is a must watch as well. I definitely recommend this show with two thumbs up!

I have to admit, mixing variety show and drama was not a stupid idea. If produced correctly, it combines all the best aspects of the two entertainment media. Did it work out here? Yes and No.

The cast members trying to fit into the roles of detectives led to many funny scenes that quite literally made me cry from laughing a few times. Having the main plot link all the episodes made me more involved. Usually, with variety shows, I only watch the episodes that have guests I am interested in. Here, because they tried to tell a cohesive story, it "forces" me to watch all the episodes, to be able to understand what is going on.
Dramas and variety shows are as good as the chemistry between the characters/cast. Damn, they did a good job with the casting here. They played off of each other so well. No matter who was working with whom, and how they split up, it was always fun and entertaining to watch.

First three episodes were too scripted, to the point it did not feel genuine. Instead of watching the cast solve the mystery and play the games, it felt like I'm watching them act it out, as if they already knew all the answers. Luckily, even though they left the scripted parts for the plot line to progress, the solving cases did feel more organic in later episodes. They started to have fun with how cringe the show is and joke about it too.
Honestly, I was about to drop it in episode 3, and give it a last shot with 4th only because I saw who the guests were. I was lucky, because that episode changed my mind completely. Now I cannot wait to start watching season 2.

se você é do tipo de pessoa que ri com piadas bestas, gente caindo ou coisas assim e ainda gosta de resolver um mistério ou assistir solução de crimes, isso aqui é um prato cheio!a história por trás pode ser um pouco desconexa pra alguns e até fraca, mas isso nem foi tão importante pra mim. o elenco é maravilhoso, vi algumas pessoas reclamando da falta de naturalidade deles MAS é o que eles mais tem, apesar de algumas coisas serem roteirizadas nem parece, e quando eles ficam rindo das falas que parecem ser ensaiadas fica mais engraçado ainda.
eu nunca tinha assistido a um show de variedades coreano e simplesmente amei, pra alguém que quer iniciar nisso, essa é a introdução ideal!
