Seriously don't watch this one. I was happy to find this drama out since it looked like a GL so I was happy that Viki is getting wlw relationships some spotlight as well. But damn I was wrong, I can't believe I survived watching all the 8 episodes. The only pros are that both the female leads acted quite good and that I liked the OST but that's all.
The characters are awful, manipulative and cheating. All the relationships (romantic or friendship) are so toxic it hurts.
I'm not even sure if this can be considered GL since the female leads were always like "we're just best friends" and they had friendship rings and each of them got a boyfriend at the end of the drama. Like what?!
Lesbians and wlw in general deserve much better representation than this sh*t.

Spicy and Sweet
This drama was really the perfect mix of 18+ scenes and sweet ones as well. I loved the topics it discussed and how it was focused on sex from a female perspective, that was so nice to see! It was educating too but it still had a great story.I loved the two couples, the two female leads were very different from each other and it was so great to see them supporting each other through the relationships and everything. The two male leads were both walking green flags and also absolute eye-candies. ;)
I think the drama ended well although I definitely wouldn't mind if it got a second season.

The story seems a bit repetitive with two people being from different sects and despite everything falling for each other but they succeeded at creating a little twist at this classical story.
The OST is really good and the movie almost feels like a music video at the same time.
The actresses have such a great chemistry together and no wonder when they are a couple in real life as well. <3 I was so happy to finally see a wlw film piece finally made by an actual wlw couple. *-*
The cinematography, sceneries, and costumes are going to make you feel like watching a high budget drama because they are amazing as well.
I've re-watched Red Witch and Heroine Su three times already and I don't think that I will ever get tired of it. But we definitely need more wuxia GLs.

Let me start by saying that the female lead Holly was really a handsome stewardess, she rocked that hairstyle and the butch vibes, and I had such a big crush on her. 😍 Out of the other characters I liked Mei Ling, the fact that she did martial arts was very cool and I liked how both the women in the couple were sorta tomboyish and that the relationship wasn't heteronormative – nothing wrong with it, I just feel like straight directors and screenwriters tend to push the heteronormativity too much into BLs and GLs. But that wasn't this case since the creator of this series is a lesbian herself and I was very happy to find that out. It was interesting to see the differences between Taiwan and Singapore, with one country being open minded towards LGBTQ+ persons and the other one not and how the contrast was shown in the drama and it was also nice to see an international couple. Another thing which I really liked was how they showed how the oversexualization of flight attendants' uniforms is making it hard to work for them and kudos to the creators for showing that women aren't the only one being abused and that it's a problem too.
The one thing I REALLY didn't like was how there were some really awful transphobic jokes about transgender people and drag queens as these two are completely different and nothing alike. Due to this I dropped the rating a bit but otherwise it was a really enjoyable series. Although the ending was open, I don't think we will be getting a second season though. 😔
My final rating for Handsome Stewardess is 8/10.

story seemed very promising but then...
I just felt so confused almost all the time!
The two main characters had great bickering scenes but I really didn't grow fond of either of them. I was honestly glad when I remembered their names because for some reason I had so much troubles remembering the characters' names in this drama. 😅
One thing I really really liked was the OST. It was so good, especially just the instrumental parts! They matched amazingly with the atmosphere and overall vibe of the drama.
Although I didn't like it, I still wanted to finish it to uncover the mysteries so I watched the last episodes on 1.5 speed and it was bearable. But it wasn't a memorable drama for me so I give the rating 6.5.

I started this drama because of my friend who persuaded me to watch because she liked it as well, especially Rang. So that's why I started watching it and oh boy I was so glad that I did it. Unlike many I actually came to like the female lead, she was hardworking and strong and wasn't afraid of hurting or even killing herself to save the people that she loved. Same goes for the male lead and I absolutely loved his red hair. <3
One could also learn more about Korean culture, traditions and urban legends just from watching this drama.
Episode 15 was such an emotional rollercoaster of my god.
I honestly can't wait to watch the sequel when it comes out.

Quite good actually
Lately I have problems putting my thoughts into words and coherent sentences so forgive me if this review is a bit all over the place, but I've been trying my best. I think I'll just go with bullet points as that is easier for me when writing. What I liked:
1) Easy to watch. Maybe it was the fact that it's on Youtube and each episode is broken into four smaller parts but I found this series incredibly easy to binge-watch. I didn't do it but it would be easy to. The plot wasn't hard to understand and the aesthetics were on point.
2) Mon's parents. I loved how they were supportive of their daughter and how her step-father was so nice to her and they both had a great and healthy relationship together. Their scenes with Sam were also funny, how they were so polite to her.
3) TeeYuki. I loved Yuki. I loved Tee even more, it was nice to see a butch character. We were robbed when these two didn't have more screentime together. TeeYuki spinoff when?
4) Risa and Cher. My beloved ones. I loved to see a slightly older wlw couple, enjoyed every moment they were on screen. Seriously I liked the side couples more than the main couple.
5) The wedding. Although same-sex marriages are still not recognised in Thailand, it felt nice for them to still have one (and if I remember correctly Risa and Cher were also "married").
Mixed feelings:
1) Grandma. The last episode twist was out of nowhere. I'm glad that the grandmother changed her view on Sam, not fully but at least she supported her and let her be with Mon. Also Kirk, at the beginning I seriously thought that he was supportive of Sam not marrying him lol.
2) Sam's company. It was so vague what the company actually does lol. I liked the guy, who pretended to be dead at the beginning, that was funny. Auntie Mee portrayal was not and I hate how some shows treat trans women as just comedic reliefs, with their transness being the actual joke. It's not funny. And please stop casting cis men as trans women, even a cis woman would be better for the role (the best way would be for the character to not be there at all). I would prefer no representation over bad one any day. But yes, we need more trans characters portrayed well and with respect! And I needed more Nita, she was there as one of the minor antagonists and then just dissappeared out of nowhere.
3) The age gap. Nothing against age gaps as long as both the characters are mature enough, it is legal, it is not grooming and creepy. Sam and Mon have an age gap of eight years in the series, Mon is 22 I think while Sam is 30. That's perfectly fine. What WAS weird was that they met as children (well, Mon was a child, I can't remember how old Sam was during that encounter) and it made Mon idolize Sam and want to follow in her footsteps so I guess that it had to be there but still I was a bit icky with it. Maybe because I don't like the protagonists meeting in childhood cliche even normally, but with big age gaps it gets even weirder. At least Sam didn't seem to remember much about it and it wasn't portrayed in a romantic way.
What I disliked:
1) The character of Auntie Mee, I already talked about it.
2) The last episode felt a bit rushed to me. Like there were no time jumps in the seriee but the last episode was like "3 days later" and "2 months later" at least two more times.
Overall I give 8.5/10 rating, I enjoyed watching it and I hope that it will bring us more full-length GLs.

The story itself wasn't that bad but oh it was a big mess. The movie dumped a bunch of characters on you without any proper introduction and as it progressed it didn't get any better with that.
I can't remember much of the OST but I remember that some of the sound effects that they used for the fighting scenes sounded like the sound of blasters from Star Wars. 😂
I don't want to be negative so I will now tell you the positive things about the movie:
First: Lesbian representation. Nothing too explicit of course but for its age it's there and it's shown there. That was cute. Too bad that it was like 30 and less seconds of screen time.
Second: The comedy. The movie doesn't have a comedy tag in the genres but maybe it should. I wasn't expecting such funny scenes from it but they really made me laugh sometimes.
Third: Fighting scenes. The CGI is bad from a perspective of today but I can imagine that back in 1994 it must have been one of the better ones. And even without CGI, the kung-fu scenes itself are very great.
Overall 6/10. It definitely wasn't the best movie but it was memorable in some aspects.

The story was phenomenal! There were so many plot twists which I wasn't expecting at all and also many flashbacks to the past but it wasn't confusing at all. Everything was honestly explained so well. The cinematography was also very beautiful.
The acting was soooo good, especially the two lead actresses did such a great job. Their chemistry was outstanding in both the normal and sexual scenes. There are like three of them and one is nearly five minutes long and uncensored so be at least 18 before you watch this movie.
I highly recommend this movie!

Absolute waste of time. I can't really understand how anyone can honestly like this drama. The story is full of clichés and just awful. The female lead has absolutely no personality while the male lead is so obsessive that it hurts. The second lead is awful as well and her best friend as well. I honestly liked none of the characters. There was zero chemistry between the leads and their romance was so toxic. The mature scenes weren't even that mature - they were just laying on the bed usually in full clothing and making out.
The only plus is that it's so short and I liked the OST.
Seriously don't watch it.

I started watching this drama because of the interesting plot of a princess turned warrior and I was very happy to find Kim So Hyun in the lead role. On Dal played a vital role in the story though I think it focused on Pyeonggang/Ga Jin more so I don't really get why they wrote at the beginning of very episode that it's a story based on general On Dal's life lol. :D The change of the actors didn't really bug me that much and I think Na In Woo did a really amazing job and his chemistry with KSH was so good! They easily become one of my favourite couples with their selfless love for each other.
I was rooting for the secondary couple as well but later I really started to despise Go Geon a lot. Mo Yong truly deserved better and I'm glad that at least she got the ending she had.
But the overall ending! Gosh that's the main reason why I gave the drama a lower rating because at first I was going to give 10/10. But then the last four episodes came out… After the four year jump everything went downhill. The sweet Prince was acting so power hungry out of nowhere and treating his sister awfully without any proper explanation. :/ We never saw some of the secondary characters, who have just disappeared with a trace (the concubine Hyeon Bi, Ga Jin's adoptive father, the little girl Wol from Baekje, the woman who was in love with Chief Sa…). Go Geon got such a long and draggy dying scene ugh. On Dal's own death felt so rushed but the fact that he actually didn't die was even worse. I think that they should have just let him die instead of making such a forced clichéd romance ending tbh.
Overall a great drama with the worst ending possible. :')

A little to no plot, mostly just vibes
And they were roommates!Honestly, I think it's hard to include an actual plot into a short web-series with only two characters (there aren't literally any other characters on screen apart from them) and with the whole drama taking place in a house where they live together. Thus it focuses mostly on their relationship as they are forced by circumstances to find compromises in their housing situation. Due to their different personalities, they clash a lot at first but later get to know each other better and discover that they actually complement each other pretty well.
There are some swoon-worthy and cute moments: oh, the accidental almost-kisses! Although the clumsy ways they ended up in these situations weren't that believeable, the chemistry between the leads made up for it. Some of the acting was cringey a bit, especially the thinking scenes, I think that part could have been done better. But I liked the ending and also the birthday part a lot!
Overall I give the rating 7/10, an easy-to-watch GL that had a bigger potential.

A wild and enjoyable ride
What a nice surprise! I had no idea what to expect from this movie but the poster caught my attention and I added it to my watchlist. The premise sounded interesting too so I decided to randomly watch it one day.I fell in love with the mother-daughter chaotic duo and their mission through Itaewon to find their missing relative. It was almost detective-like, leading them from one place to another, meeting all sorts of people, and resulting into serious, funny, and heart-warming situations. And altough I managed to guess the plot twist around 2/3 of the movie, it was still very entertaining to watch it all unfold.
The representation in this was amazing! It isn't everyday when you see a good representation of LGBTQ people, foreigners, BIPOC, single mothers, drag queens, all in one movie!
Cheetah's rapping and singing took my breath away, it was really really great. Just *chef's kiss*, it made the movie even better.
One last thing, there's A LOT of swearing in the movie so just be warned of that. :D

It took me five whole months to finish this drama but it wasn't that bad as it might seem from the time I spent watching it. It's a slowburn drama, definitely not fit for binge-watching although I realize now that I was taking too much time with it. 😅The green aesthetics of this drama were on point, the green colour suited the mood truly well. I want to praise the costume designers for a great job with choosing the clothes, especially for Ji Yun Su and the director Noh Jeong Ah.
The OST was sooo good. I really liked it, most of the songs had English lyrics and the soundtrack was slow and soothing too.
Out of the characters my favourite was the teacher Ji Yun Su, she was an amazing teacher and definitely didn't deserve all the stuff that happened to her, especially when she was just trying to help a student find his hidden mathematical talents again.
I was a bit disappointed that the second part of the drama was focusing so much on the politics, the Math museum, and the scandal with the exams. I would love to see more of the relationships of the characters instead. But the scene at the end was really heartwarming and wholesome. 💕
My final rating for Melancholia is 8.5/10.
