Wholesome with a pang of angst
Hm, I don't really know where to start my review, as there honestly isn't much to talk about this movie. It was a simple story, but the feels were very much there. The movie starts out with the main couple's story, the goofy husband Shingo and the love of his life Chie. Like the rest of it, it was a simple meeting between them and there really wasn't much going on, until Chie got diagnosed with cancer. From the get go, I honestly did not really like Shingo, but he certainly has his moments in the movie. I was touched by a lot of points, and I loved Chie's spirit til the very end. It got too melodramatic at some points, but the emotional aspect redeemed it and Hana is absolutely cute! Was this review helpful to you?
