Chiaki's father suddenly dies. After his death, Chiaki and her mother, Tsukasa, move to Popura Apartment. The apartment building is owned by an old woman. The old woman tells Chiaki that she is able to send letters to dead people. Chiaki believes her and writes a letter to her father in Heaven. She gives the letter to old woman.
