I'm usually not a big fan of Taiwanese dramas, because the main female lead is usually very cutesy and a bit annoying; BUT this drama had a really good female lead character. Sure, Mi Na was head over heel for a guy in college, but usually first love you are like that; and it's hard for you to forget about them. Ten years later, Mi Na still remembers the good times in college, but at least she is successful in her career. The only fault I find in her character was that I wish she gave the second male lead a chance. They had such good chemistry! And he was always there for her.

If you want something that is light-hearted, but with a more realistic kind of outcome, then I think you should check this drama out. Majority of the characters are pretty likable.

So many problems. Not sure why I finished it.

There are spoilers in this. If you are going to watch it you might not want to read more. I felt that this show was a big waste of time.
I'm not really sure where to begin.
I feel like they were trying to make this a drama about strong women and how they deal with life. They failed. There are so many issues. First off a strong woman will not hold on to a lost love for as long as our lead female did, there just isn't a strong enough love story there for it to last as long as it did. I also think this is true for our 2nd leading lady, her dad was a piece of work too. I thought everything with him was just to far over the top to believe. Then there are the friends of these two. One of them devotes her self to a player and that is just a big mess there. The other one just wants loved. The CEO is suppose to be a strong woman that our lead looks up to but we find out her life is kinda a mess too. The male lead was seriously not worth the time spent on him. He was a weak, selfish, money hungry guy. They tried to make him this noble guy who was doing it all for his family but he didn't even check with his family to see if they were okay and they got what was promised. His mom was they typical mom that just wants the rich woman for her kid. Doesn't care about his happiness at all. The second lead was an awesome guy who all the girls would have fallen for and they play him off as a dimwit through most of it. He far out shined all the other guys in this show. The only other guy that I would say was worth any thing was the car mechanic that they bring in for the short friend. I am glad that the relationship between the friends got resolved. The end leaves a lot to be desired. I am not really sure why I continued to watch it, I guess in hopes that there would be something that made me not regret wasting my time. I think the only thing that made it worth while was I found a couple of actors that I want to check out to see if they were ever given a chance to shine in other shows.

A fun watch. The female lead could be frustrating at times (I agreed with everything her romantic rival said on the dorm rooftop) and some of the plotlines seemed implausible (e.g., the cause of the leads’ estrangement) but the strength of the female characters’ friendships and the way the drama depicted their maturation make up for that. I have to say, however, that the male characters suffered by comparison, often coming off as rigid, weak, or clueless. I think that Duncan Lai did a very good job -- you could see a real difference between his idealistic college student versus his rather cold 10-years-older businessman. I like the ending, which (slight spoiler) did not end with all of the women married off, even though the drama showed the women running all over the place in wedding dresses in the opening and closing credits for every episode!

I was scrolling through Netflix, and was like sure lets try watching this since it seemed kinda different, and a lot of female leads! So I thought it would be a interesting story plot.

But I actually didn't really like this, I think there was too much drama and just a lot of misunderstandings happening. But I realised in real life that is what usually happens to girls, and just over a guy as well.

I did think the plot was a little messy. and I couldn't really finish the drama, I finished watching it all only because I wanted to know what happens but yeah, I think it was a bit too much drama and just the story itself wasn't that great.

This is probably one of the most morally bankrupt drama's I have ever seen and that includes American Dramas. If you like to see the bad guy win and men of good moral character be completely mistreated then this drama is for you. The acting was really well done and production value was top notch but the story was so badly executed that by the end of the series I was just hoping some of the main characters would die to balance out my sense of injustice at the story. The casting was bad as well as the lead female had much better chemistry with the second love interest than the first, which really leads to some emotional let downs throughout the series. The "Take Away Moral" of this drama is, "You can treat Taiwanese women however you want as long as you have a sharp nose and the woman in question is over 30 and unmarried."
