if your expectations for this drama is high... im sorry but you might be dissapointed.
before we get into all the bad things... THE MUSIC IS SO AWESOME!! its fitted in all the right places and the singers' voices are magical! definitely search up the ost even if you don't want to watch it!!alright so zhao liying, female lead is 10 years older than wang yibo, male lead. although that isn't too bad of a difference, they don't have much spark. additionally the dubbed voices are so weird? and funny? and very out of place. especially the yulao (guy with mustache) this drama was one of the most anticipated dramas of early 2021 because of the castings but the production team let us down (in my opinion)
this wasn't a terrible watch, but i would definitely watch something other than this one if i could go back in time. however, i have to emphasize again!!! the music!! does!! wonders!! to!! your!! ears!! seriously i love the ost for this drama.

Classic Wuxia Remix
A very typical wuxia story - it feels very much like the classic memories I have of watching Legend of Condor Heroes in my youth. Classic story of young hero leaves home, has adventures and levels up continuously - I'm expecting it to end with defeating the big bad and saving the world. It's unafraid to throw in spins on the genre - it is after all the "Legend of Fei", so an immediate twist is that it is the female lead who is the ultimate martial artist in training. The story is all classic tropes - people to save, McGuffins to fetch. I do like that there's no harem or love triangle romance shenanigans, but also things are pretty restrained - more conversations, smiles and tears. I'm not expecting any steamy romance clips. Just because the main lead
Highly anticipated drama that come out after zhao li ying gave birth only like this... I'm quite disappointed. This drama only got point because of the main lead is zhao li ying & wang yi bo. If not them i don't think this drama will gonna have this high rating.The plot itself for me quite boring. More episode toward the ending more bored i got. Several first episode still quite interesting. But for me this drama get downhill after xie yun (XY) wake up from his comma. It don't get the romance that i'll hope gonna take uphill. & the story itself really like stretch to the point i can't take it anymore and just watch it really fast, just to know what the treasure about & will XY actually cured or not, they just stretch the story for so long, the pace getting slower and slower, so many unnecessary scene & dialogue... Maybe if they shorten the episode it will gonna more interesting.
Many scene or plot that doesn't make sense. The biggest one is why the anping troops must be exist... They are former dynasty troops while XY the one supposed to be the king not even interested to be the king. So what the use of anping troops, they said to protect the people, from what....??? I don't think the people suffer in the current dynasty. If there is war that because of them don't want to give up. See... Really makes no sense right for them to exist in the first place...
The character the most interesting is only XY & Yang Jin 'the bonehead'. I have to give applause to Wang Yi Bo, he really nailed his character. But for Zhao Li Ying... I quite bored with her character always stiff like this & this is not even the best. Their chemistry itself... I only get the sense it's only until friendship level not lover.
So overall i quite disappointed with this drama. Just watch this if you the fans of the actor, not because of the story.

The characters and their relationships made this drama
Admittedly, this drama took me some time to finish but ultimately i am so happy I did finish it. The weakest facet ofnthis drama is the story as many people have mentioned. It isnt bad or awful, but nor is it grabbing. To me things were going very slowly and not enticing. What made stick around the most was the characters and their relationships. Especially, but not limited to the main couple. The romance was my favorite part of this drama! A slowburn friends to to lovers.Both the leads were fun to watch by themselves but ten times better when together. I love it and it was always them who made me come back anytime I took a break.
Second best part was the martial arts. I found myself on the edge of my seat almost every battle and enjoyed the choreography.
Lastly, the music. It really does get better the more you watch these characters and get attached to them.
Overall, I really enjoyed this drama and can see myself watching it again some time down the road.

treasure hunters
Overall I liked the series. I also suited Zhou Li Ying.i for the role. But I didn't find it suitable. The reason is; Being weak and petite, knocking down anyone in front of him. Fighting for hours, fighting not one but many. However, even if he fights with a person with his physique, he becomes smoke. He's already tired. He can't even lift the sword. But it's a series after all. Fantastic. Fitting things. If I fit the role, he worked and made up the outfit he wore. His stance, his gaze, and even a few movements suit him. He matched well with Wang Yi Bo, who is much younger than himself. So they're numb. If there is Li Ying.in's effort in this, I don't know. Yi Bo.'s look older than his age, his weight when necessary, his smile and pleasantness when necessary also helped. With its physical structure, Yİ BO got full marks from me. It was pretty good. Zhang Hui Wen, especially Chen Ruo Xuan, Zhou Jie Qiong with his funnyness, Zhang Xin Yu were the actors who brought me the drama that I liked. Of course, Veteran players were also very successful. In other words, there was a group of players close to perfect as CAST. I like it. Only the exaggerations, logical errors and mistakes in the story lowered my grade for the series. I don't like the things that the screenwriters did and happened. I want it to pass through a little logic so that its feasibility can be reviewed. Let's get some thought and worry. They mostly rocked. It's a fantastic series. That's why I say. But as I said overall, it was a very good series. I even compared the final treasure search scenes to the US movie TREASURE HUNCHERS. Something to always remember
I am going to keep this short as possible even though that will be hard because there is so much i could say about this drama. NO SPOILERS included.Wang yibo and Zanilla is one pair i never thought would look good on screen together but it was some good chemistry that i couldn't even realise the age difference. I came for both these actors but stayed for the characters. Wang yibo has never played a comedic role before but i swear when he started talking i couldnt help but laugh. And then we have Zanilla an actress that has been on our screens for years but never have i finished any of her dramas. No, not even princess agents. Why? Not because she isnt a good actress but because the storyline didnt attract me. With legend of fei i didn't skip any parts. It was never boring. So much so that i keep on rewatching without even realizing. I suggest those that havent hopped on this master piece to do so right now. This is my favour wuxia for 2021, then douluo continent, then WOH.
Now tu tu your way over to any site or even YouTube and devour this 5 star Michelin meal (only stays or those who listen to gods menu by stary kids understand)

cute and slow developing romance with no toxicity and a journey around the wuxia world,
If u r someone who puts so much thoughts on cgi and dubbing thn u might feel troublesomefirstly i wanna say about romance part coz i wasnt expecting it to be so perfectly presented and well paced development despite the age gap of a decade.it made me forget tht there is really a huge gap in their ages and i just cant help shiping thm (of course the drama characters).It developed so beautifully tht u cant point out a specific momnt from when they started to fall in love.they didnt make things worse creating misunderstanding among the leads thts the best thing.and they always faced everything hand in hand .
if i say of the characters they have a huge character development throughout the series by experiencing several events ,loss and gains.they start to understand life better day by day and turns thoughtful from naive..also some characters are really hillarious but still so reliable.the stry doesnt revolve around the leads rather the collaboration with the supporting roles are really worth praising
about martial arts, the female lead develops day by day.thankfully they didnt show her so strong since the begining but made her improve day by day. the demons were also powerful and there was always a pace between demons and righteous martial artist .like they neither always made the demons sucessful which literally makes me think doesnt other people have brains nor did they always made the main sects victorious which would be so unrealistic.
just give it a try.and if u dont like the starting dont drop it.its really worth watching .

Perfectly imperfect for me!
I never thought that even though, with all it's flaws, lacking of some acting skills, and all it's fakeness, Legend of Fei grew on me. It is sooo endearing and feels like an old friend for me. I can't understand that even though with it's super fake props, feeling like it's soo low on budget, unconvincing villains that will make you laugh and scratch your head instead of feeling their nastiness and being a villain, still I enjoyed watching the entire 51 episodes. Maybe it's because of Zanilia Zao and Wang Yibo. I loved all the fight scenes and most especially when it's Fei and Xie Yun moments, they just looked good together, even though for me, they didn't convinced me that they're romantically involved on the screen, more on BFF thingy.Anyway, it's worth the time to watch it and also, I love, love, love the OST! All the songs, fit the scenes and will give you the feels.

An Excellent Charming Drama - Lively and captivating
I shall reiterate thoughts made in my previous review comments on this drama ... In my humble and genuine opinion, this is an excellent and charming drama, lively and captivating, at times funny with superb acting from the whole cast, particularly from the two leads, well played, convincingly sweet and believable, conveying their gradual growing fondness for each other as the drama develops, depicting a high degree of maturity and wisdom while maintaining some annoying naivety and innocence for their respective age as indicated on this drama which aptly exemplified the qualities of the actors' abilities and skills which is what we should be looking for (NOT the individual actors' actual age). Whilst there are some shortcomings and gaps in the story ... for example, what happened to Wu Chuchu's little brother? Although there were passing comments made on the 'intentions' of finding and uniting Wu Chuchu with her little brother, this was not followed up explicitly ... However, with that said, this on the whole is a most captivating drama, portraying a certain historical period that holds the viewers' interest, at the same time epitomising a clear line between inherent good, honour, and a sense of pride, against bad and evil. An uplifting drama that is well made, well acted, and certainly well deserving of an honest unbiased review ... Short review.
In the most simplest words no baseless arguments between the lead couple, irrelevant sacrifices or unnecessary love triangle and drama. The rest of the characters had a good story going on . At the beginning didn't like Li Sheng's character, I thought he was impulsive but as the story progressed, his character matured and got to learn why he acted like that at the beginning. I had no problem with the rest of the characters. All of them had good acting skills.Wang Yibo's character Xie Yun really impressed me, him being mostly quiet while the character being talkative was definitely new to me.
I loved the OSTs they brought the right "feel" to the scenes. There wasn't over the top CGI and most things looked almost natural.
It is a wholesome drama with I little bit of everything: action, comedy(especially Xie Yun), sensible grief(not over the top exaggeration. Just the right amount). I really do wish though that Duan Jiuniang(wilted flourish palm, the eccentric lady who said she was Zhou Fei grandma)had a longer interaction with Zhou Fei. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

I was waiting for a Wuxia Drama with Zhao Liying because she left me with a Impression after Princess Agents and There were many Second leads but our Female Lead A'fei like ignored all of them and had only eyes for our Male Lead (another reason why I liked the Drama) and Jealous Wang Yibo was so Cute and I loved all the Fighting Scenes of Zhao Liying and Wang Yibo in this Drama, you could see the effort they both and the whole Crew have put into this Drama. And the Character of A'fei's Cousin ( I found him Annoying ) but I loved his Love story with his Female Lead and THIS DRAMA HAS A HAPPY ENDING!!
SO, GO AND WATCH IT RIGHT NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY ( I am Currently for Rewatching )
