I love how the story went. It also talks about dreams friendship family and love. And what tugs at my heart is their reconciliation. I also love the OSTs which were very touching. And the leads are oozing with chemistry. I became a fan after a few episodes! ☺️

Main leads are fantastic
I really love this drama. I watch any drama that has to do with esports or any computer gaming. The two main leads are great, I love their acting and they have really good chemistry. They both have a cute innocence to them. It’s a cute story line. The main female lead is adorable, she is my favorite actress. All the characters in this drama are fun to watch. The story line is a little slow at times, but overall worth watching. It’s about first love and following your dreams. Inspiring Drama
Hi there, I just finished watching this drama. I am very sure, for those watching this drama, you can feel the emotion and the storyline also is quite good. Love, family bonding, true friendship values, determination, and hard work blend together, and the actors in this drama manage to pull every aspect of the drama very well. Kudos to the director for bringing e-sport love to the viewers and somehow manage to convey that playing games also can be considered a professional job.I love to see the development of the character and how the lead manage to grow in the relationship..and not forgetting the reminder do not to drive if you are drunk,
A bit stereotype, when you are a PHD student, the guy need to be sloppy. You can be smart and stylish too. Anyway, nice effort. Love Han Shanyang dan his team mates.

Li Xian as Han Shang Yan = LOVE + SWOON
I really love this drama. Or rather, to be more accurate, I really love Li Xian as Han Shang Yan in this drama.Watch because:
- if I haven’t said it clearly enough above - Li Xian is too cute, too hot, too manly, too sexy, too OMG LOVE!
- his character, Han Shang Yan, is awesome
- plot is engaging and interesting enough
- plot is quite fast-paced
- there are many funny, lovable, exciting, cute, heart-stopping sexy Li Xian moments in this drama
Female lead isn’t anything to shout about, IMO. But well, watch for Li Xian and the good plot.

Like honestly, from the very starting I was not expecting anything. I just saw its rating, Hu Yi Tian and started watching it?. Starting was cold, but slowly it started to become interesting. The way the story is written is very cool. I really didn't understand what CTC was; I actually thought that it's just some computer game like COC or something. But then I felt that its something different. And to actually understand the dept of the series it's important to understand that game too.. so I started to Google search it and finally I got to know it's a high level cyber security game where the other team needs to crack the coding created by the defending team.SERIES REVIEW : According to me, the pace was perfect, there was no unnecessary drama. The comedy timing was perfect. And I literally go mad when I see Nian Nian Nian drinking. My Goodness, she is so funny ??, cute, full of life, cheerful, and a happy soul . Han on the other hand, is cool, calm, composed, just know the perfect way to solve any situation ?. The actors playing the CTC were also very good; like in both the way.. acting and looks too ?. Hu Yitian, as he is..cool and impactful. Also, people of SP were good to. As it is shown that they are senior players, and the choice of the actors for those characters was really nice.
HAN SHANG YAN (LI XIAN) : I think that the way this man performed..was just fantastic. The way he was able to bring changes in his character as the storyline go forward..its something to be appreciated. The sole of the character was same, but still by staying in company with Nian Nian, he was changing a bit everyday. He was becoming a bit warmer everyday. The best part was when Nian Nian got drank for the first time when she went to give him the pendrive. That was funny, like literally.
On one side everyone was even afraid to talk to Han; and on the otherwise its Nian Nian..who can do anything to him??❤️.
But the game changer was GrandPa and somewhere DT??.
The best thing was that, even though they were not in actually relationship at the starting..but still Han was ready to take his responsibility as her bf till they break up (I hope this kind of person actually exist). Best thing was, they never broke up or we can say that he was brave enough not to give up❤️.. that's what actually love needs..a never-give-up attitude ❤️.
Last but obviously not the list...love the ending..love the drama..love everything about it.. happy that I started to watch Cdrama❤️.
Most important thing...LI XIAN IS ???

This drama is one among repeatedly watching drama. Each an every thing is defined in particular way which we might feel like an heaven. Main characters all have done an extreme work on it. Story is obviously awesome.Lixian is super awesome, his transition from rude one to a approachable one is like super awesome. No words can define his work on it. All characters have done their best to make it best.
If you are looking for rom-com this one this exact one you should watch + it's an inspirational one too.

Just a few of my thoughts...
I find it so interesting how drastic the opinions are on this one. People either LOVE it or absolutely hate it. If this starts out slow and you feel like giving up, hold on. It all comes together and its all so great. This story is not predictable at all and i never knew what would happen next but i stayed for the ride. This isn't much of a review and just mire of my thoughts on this drama. This is my first C drama so i wasn't really sure what to expect but I loved it. I loved it, even though I skipped so much of it. The flashbacks for me entirely too long and mostly not needed. The acting was done so well that without me having to watch all the boring flashbacks, i was still able to understand the importance and impact their past friendships had on their current selves. I thought the idea of following your dreams and the passage of time were conveys so well. This idea of growing up. This was all done so greatly. The interaction between the K&K boys was olaying cute and fun. The felt the passion these kids had for this sport. Gun God was such a great mentor, The OTS sooo sooo good. The romance on the other hand started out a hot mess. Little squid was soooo stinking cute. I actually thought i would hate her because she was soo cute but it worked so well. FL legit simped the entire drama, but for some reason I was okay with it. Gun God fine as fuck y'all haha so that's probably why i was okay with it. But when he finally committed, it was beautiful. His strong sense of nationality was also really sweet. I loved listening to him speak. ML and FL chemistry was off the charts. This was looong but so worth it. A drama that will inspire you to strive your dreams even though you feel hopeless.
It took me half a year to watch this drama and tbh I regret not watching it earlier. At first I was kinda hesitant to watch it because I'm not into sports or esports related drama but this drama is different. I really thought it's gonna be boring or cliche but it is not. What I like about this drama is how it focused not only the cute story of the main leads but the thought of striving your dreams even if you there's something holding you back, don't be afraid to take second chances and there's nothing wrong about taking risks. If you want a drama that will inspire you or motivate you even if you feel hopeless, you should watch this.STORY: I really like the flow of the story it is realistic and interesting.
ACTING/CAST: They have their own unique personalities but some of them are pretty annoying but it's tolerable .
MUSIC: SERIOUSLY THEY HAVE THE BEST OSTS,, *chef's kiss*
REWATCH VALUE: I don't find myself rewatching this again bc the angst part stresses me out.

The Intro, Outro, It's funny
Go go squid is the best Chinese show I've ever watched if I didn't watch it I don't think I would have ever BINGE watched other Chinese drama for like a month so I recommend that you watch it because it is wonderful it will make you laugh it will give you butterflies in your belly I've re-watched Go go squared at least 10 times already since I started watching it and I always start it from the beginning and that's a lot because that it has 41 episodes it's so so good I don't even know where to start because of it the actors are so funny in real life and I cannot wait for the other version. The intro is so amazing same for the outro the overall show is just good it's also makes you think what would you do if you were in that situation if you were in that Chinese drama I'm giving this a 10 it's just so wonderful and beautiful thinking about it makes me feel like I wanna cry, watching these kind of drama especially one similar to Go go squid it's probably the best time I have in my life it's so wonderful.Was this review helpful to you?
Then drama is also shows that one person comes across to many relationship in his life and how that become precious to him like his colleagues , friend ,family , students or employees and at last his love life...
Two thing I wish they should show in the drama 1st the one who played the role of 1st lead male character's brother should have more scenes ,he only share few screen and secondly in whole drama he even not have more dialogue other supporting character have more dialogues and scenes as compared to him .
2nd thing the one who played the role of manager they should show his love story little more because they also look so cute together .
Anyways at last I like watching this drama .

The main focus of this drama seems to be about Shang Yan. For the first oh 15 to 20 episodes, it's heavily focus on his past and explains why he is this cold heart person, living 10 years with a broken friendship that does get repair past the halfway mark of this drama. This section can be draggy for some people. It was for me but I felt like it was needed even though it felt repetitive.
Romance is there for the second half of this drama. The first half was more of Tong Nian's one sided love. I'll admit, I was annoyed with her in the beginning because of her falling in love at first sight and then being a stalker to Shang Yan. It's like she wasn't thinking for herself in a way where she seemed kinda dumb. But that persistence eventually opened Shang Yan's feelings then once that happened, then it's smooth sailing for them. I kinda wanted to see more though as I didn't think there were enough romantic scenes with the main leads and the secondary side couple (Yaya & Shao Fei). I find Shao Fei & Yaya scenes more cuter and wanted more of these 2 goofy characters.
Best part is there aren't any evil characters in this drama. I mean you have the typical mom who doesn't want the guy to get with the daughter because of bad first impressions but honestly the way this was shown was not bad at all compared to what it could've been. You also have this crazy fan chick who tried to win Shang Yan but that was brief thankfully to Shang Yan's coldness. She's not even an important character as her appearance was only for a few episodes before the halfway point.
If I have to say a con of this drama, it would be that Wu Bai didn't have much of role. It almost seemed like he was only in half of the episodes but when he does show up, the camera sure does like to focus in on him. His character is kinda bland though. We just didn't know much about him. But thankfully, there's a sequel where it will be focus on him. Maybe we'll learn more about him that way.
Otherwise, besides the draggy beginning, there's not much bad things to say about this drama and I'm usually a harsh critic on dramas. I just felt like the writers wrote this one well. Plot progressed well and my favorite part, NO CONFLICT in the last few episodes. I don't know why a lot of writers like doing that but I'm glad this drama doesn't do that. It was all happiness and comedy towards the end, which it's hard to find in Chinese dramas these day.
Definitely would rewatch again but probably starting near the halfway point of the drama instead of the beginning.
