While they deadpan, you end up rolling on the floor laughing!

A refreshing show with a very interesting concept. The stories pictured in each episode are really believable and enough details are given to flesh out the situation as it must have seemed then. There is plenty of attention to details for such a goofy show. The tongue in cheek humour entertains throughout. The committee members debate minutiae in earnest doing reenactments, experiments and even gender swapping to better understand the situation and render judgement. Gender is pretty important actually because the male committee members are far more optimistic and are often miffed at why something totally acceptable when the female does is completely unacceptable when genders are reversed. Shiraishi Mai is really convincing as the stern sole female committee member with her guard up against male fantasies. The scene in which she lies on her side and her body resembles the mountains in the horizon is quite brilliant and the rice enactment scenes were also ROFL. The way the show pretends to take itself seriously is hilarious. it gives off the feel of manga , having its sweet and ponderous moments in an overall comic setting. Some situations become a little repetitive but I can see the potential for a second season with original content based on this concept.
The episodes are short and standalone bearing no realation to previous episiodes. One can empathize with how we could look back at certain instances in life to hypothesize what could have happened. Sato Jiro's words as the empathetic martial artist are often philosophically on point. Yamada Takayuki, has some outstanding moments as the contemplative musician. Hell, I would love to have such a committee in real life! The girls in the show are quite cute. The make-out scenes are goofy but passionately done. This was good!

up until this point i have been watching relatively tame asian dramas/comedy/romances, but i liked how unique this one was. the usa wouldnt put this on the air as allthey shows in usa is people hoping in and out of bed all the time...sex everywhere...i thought this was cute, yet sexy at times. some of the stories were rather good and interesting...i liked how each where one episode..not too long or short...
i am a sucker for cute asian girls and this one had cute a few....so tired of the supermodels of usa tv...i love to see natural beauty and everyday beauty..it makes the stories more entertaining...so i will keep on watching and enjoying.
now back to my silly romances..

Where to start? Things like this "Yareta Kamo Iinkai" can only be done in Japan, LOL! ^_^; Ok, it's as weird as they come, but at the same time it manages to be funny and at times even moving for the humanity with which the head judge (that martial arts dude simply ROCKS, LOL) addresses the participants' stories. Too bad the other judges aren't that nice. The musician at least shows some (hint of an) emotion here and there, while the übercold businesswoman, always voting against the other two, never showing an emotion...URGH I just can't stand her! Oh, before anyone jumps at my throat accusing me of sexism, I would've disliked an emotionless businessman just the same - matter of fact, I just despise those icy corporate robots with their mistaken air of superiority regardless of their sex, LOL. Back to the dorama: nice jazzy score music here and there!

This show is genuine, heart felt, curious, and bittersweet all rolled in to one. There were so many wonderful stories of "could have" or "could not have", some were ridiculous and some were very sweet. I haven't seen any romance, comedy, or mystery drama play out like this one has.

Sato Jiro is one of my favorite actors, and it was wonderful to see him in this show; he has the power of making anything comedic sound serious and vice versa! It was really interesting to see how the three comittee members debated each story so seriously and thoughtful; because this is a show with a set time limit, it was really well planned out how they took their time to sincerely think, debate, and respond properly to each person's story.

This may become an underrated show because it only has about 9 episodes and doesn't really discuss much besides love lives, but this show is really something full of unique talent and genuine feelings. I found this show very relateable to myself in some ways as well. This show is so full of real, raw emotion that I don't think anyone could not find something to realate to about the stories, or a certain character, or even the entire show itself.
